My son needed an inexpensive gold tie bar. This did the trick. Definitely no frills but was the right color. He has 2 more to use later.

I got these because they were so slim. But they really do not stay in place or grip to the shirt. I felt like I had to keep adjusting it. But at least kept tie from blowing in wind. Best for under a jacket i think

This review is for the C:3 Tie Bars (Plain). It looks well-made and well-polished. I would say it’s on semi-glossy side as there is a shine to it but not too shiny. It is plain and simple yet large enough to be noticed. It is larger than my other pins, but I like it because it is plain thus hiding the largeness rather well. It came in a small black velvet bag so you can gift is as well. My favorite is black silver, something I don’t have and looks very classy. The downside is there are just way too many small plastic bags inside to separate them and they could’ve used wrapping paper something else instead.
