Service Dog Vest Harness, Reflective, Black, XL

This has been perfect for my service dog in training! The vest is very well made and holding up well. Plenty of room to grow and will fit us until full grown. Sturdy but not rigid- still soft, flexible, and seems to move with her. The sizing of this is highly forgiving and very customizable. Velcro on the front is durable and has an impressive range. They include a wide attached elastic band to cover the end of the Velcro, which is highly effective in preventing wear and lifting. I like the narrower body and that it doesn’t have the plastic card windows some others have. The belt under the harness is very well designed and could fit a small or large chested dog. The buckle feels strong and has a locking mechanism. I don’t really need the handle to hold her back, but it helps with communicating my expectations of her and I’m glad it’s there. The vest, with the help of leash wraps, has significantly helped deter approaches, without feeling over the top. This has aided in our training tremendously.I will still buy a custom made cape (or two) when she’s full grown, but it will stay within our rotation and has influenced features I’m looking for.Honest opinion, I think this is underpriced.

This harness is the best. It fits perfect and it stands out so that others realize Murphy’s on duty.

Great Dog Vest! It's easy to attach & remove. It seems to fit comfortably on my 80lb pit without issue or rubbing. The vest does tend to tilt a little, but not enough to cause any problem. I still use a collar for the leash to attach to for optimal control & ease. The black stand out on his white fur & looks really sharp.Once sized the Velcro stays in place & you can get the vest off by using the clip so no need to keep undoing & redoing the Velcro. It does seem extremely strong & that it would hold up over time though.Overall great vest & would order it again in a heartbeat.

After purchasing and using this ALBCORP Service Dog Vest Harness with my dog for several months, I believe this is a well-constructed and functional option for service dogs, particularly those that require a precise and professional identification vest. Therefore, in this review, I will do my best to give you an honest breakdown of the key pros and cons of the product while providing specific insights into its design, comfort, and usability.**Pros:**✔ Durable Construction – Made from woven nylon, the vest is designed to withstand regular use without fraying or tearing. The material is sturdy yet lightweight.✔ Highly Reflective – The vest features reflective patches and trim, enhancing visibility in low-light conditions. This is especially useful for nighttime or early-morning walks.✔ Adjustable Straps—This harness has adjustable chest and belly straps, allowing for a customizable fit. This ensures that it stays secure without being too tight or restrictive.✔ Comfortable Design – The soft mesh padding on the underside provides extra comfort, reducing pressure points and making it suitable for extended wear.✔ Clear Identification—The vest includes two bold “SERVICE DOG” white-lettering printed patches that are easily visible and removable. This helps minimize public interference and ensures compliance with ADA guidelines.✔ Easy to Use – The quick-release buckle allows for fast on-and-off application, especially for handlers who need efficiency when dressing their service dog.**Cons:**✖ Size Runs Small—While labeled as extra small, I've learned that some customers say the size runs smaller than expected. Therefore, checking the sizing chart and measuring your dog carefully before purchasing is crucial.✖ Limited Handle Size – The top handle is helpful for control but may be too small for handlers with larger hands or those needing a firmer grip.✖ Velcro Patch Durability—While the removable service dog patches are a great feature, the Velcro attachment may weaken over time with frequent use. Further, in my experience, the painted lettering on the patches is easily worn down, making them illegible. In fact, on two occasions, I've placed orders for replacement patches made of higher-quality Velcro fabric and the Service Dog patches embroidered with durable stitching.**Recommended For:**- Owners of extra small service dogs need a lightweight, visible vest.- Handlers who require a well-padded, comfortable fit for their working dog.- Those needing a vest that quickly identifies a service dog in public spaces.**Final Verdict:**The ALBCORP Service Dog Vest Harness is a highly functional, well-made vest that provides excellent visibility, comfort, and adjustability for extra-small service dogs. While some minor issues exist, such as sizing concerns and Velcro longevity, its overall durability and design make it a strong contender for service dog handlers looking for an affordable yet reliable harness.

Great vest . I thought it came with some other things, but it did not. It just comes with the service dog patch but I like the vest. My dog has a big chest and the small fits her well with some extra room. Therefore it would seem that this vest runs big. But we are happy with it and as you can see, she looks great wearing her new "official" service dog vest. She is at 23 pounds for reference.

I used this service dog vest harness on my Staffordshire and it fit her perfectly. The straps are easy to adjust, and the material feels strong and durable. Most importantly, it was comfortable for my dog no rubbing or irritation even after wearing it for long periods. The quality of the harness is great and it stayed securely in place during walks and training. The only reason I’ll be buying another one is because my dog keeps growing and now needs a larger size. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

I was a little skeptical at first to buy this based on previous reviews, but I’m glad I ultimately purchased this harness. It’s well made and fits extremely well. Is durable, the Velcro is strong, and there is plenty of adjustment for various size dogs.I purchased the medium size for my shorty bull who weights 39lbs and it was perfect! It’s easy to size and put on and take off. I would definitely recommend this!

This is a perfect harness for our service doggie ! We are traveling this summer & needed a nice vest for him to get in & out of hotels & beaches, etc. amazing ! He is a 20lbs terrier & we ordered a small & it fit him perfectly. You may need a medium for a chunky dog like a pug or Westie

At last found a good and escape free dog harness would recommend

Great product

Excellent

My Maltese is less than 8 pounds so the XXS is perfect for her. She doesn’t seem to mind it at all and this one has a reflective tape for the front of her harness as well. A handle on top is a bonus.

Exactly what i ordered
