Will these bulbs look good in recessed lighting? Do they give off a white light and not a yellow? And are they too bright? I don't want florescenct

If you choose the 2700k bulbs instead of 5000k you will find that they give off a soft white similar to a standard 65w incandescent bulb. I have a combination of these and standard incandescent bulbs in the same large area of a finished basement and you cannot tell them apart from a color, brightness, or appearance standpoint.

How do I know if I received the br30 full color? There’s no indication on the box and it does not change colors on my app.

If your app does not show the color changes, then you don't have the said bulbs. I do not use the Syvania app, I use the Google Home app and it integrates seamlessly. I think you have to use the Syvania app initially to install the bulbs to your home network, but then you can migrate it to the Google home. I hope you get it working right, these bulbs are awesome!

Will these bulbs replace a bulb that is par 30? i am trying to replace flood lights and sylvania/oshram has the best hue.

Can I Use this in a shower where the bulb is covered? Is it rated for damp environments?

No. You shouldn't use these in a fully enclosed fixture. That includes recessed with a cover.
