i searched for days trying to find a bright long flexible light for my new work bench and came up with nothing. the majority of what i found was either too short or too dull, after trying many different keywords i finally came across this light. its pretty much perfect for my needs! Very bright! Long 25in goose neck! Very sturdy and well built! i especially like that it has a clamp instead of a base to keep my workspace clear. i do alot of console mods and restoration like fixing virtual boy displays, recapping consoles and installing HDMI kits. so this will be really useful for that! id say my only complaints is the usb wire seem kinda flimsey like if it was messed with too much that it might start shorting, and the price is a bit steep but other than that i love it and would buy another if needed!

As many others, I was searching for a new light for my backup turntable. It's built solidly, and the clamp is working without any issues. There are plenty of settings to choose from to get the perfect light for spinning that licorice. Rating: 8/10

I recently bought a turntable to listen to my collection of vinyl from the 70's and 80's. It's been 20 or so years since I owned a turntable so I've been rediscovering music from my younger years. However, one thing I quickly rediscovered is how difficult it is to operate a turntable in dim light. Back in the day I always wanted a lamp to attach to my entertainment unit to light the turntable, but I never found anything that worked. Perhaps that's one reason I stopped using vinyl when CDs arrived. Fast forward to the present. Technology has given us compact LED gooseneck task lamps. What a perfect solution to the turntable problem. Well, maybe. I found candidate lamps ranging from about $8 to hundreds of dollars. I eventually settled on this UberLight Flex lamp. At $59 it's one of the more expensive lamps, but it met most of my criteria. I wanted one that lit the entire turntable, which eliminated the cheap book lights. Most important to me was a stable lamp that wouldn't droop over the turntable, and reading the reviews I realized I probably had to pay more for that feature. So here we are. The lamp is working very well. The dimmest warm light setting lights the entire turntable with just the right amount and quality of light. The two brighter settings may come in handy someday, but for now I don't need them. The size is perfect for my needs. I was afraid it might be too large, but I'd say it's just right, fitting the turntable space in my entertainment unit perfectly. It's an attractive lamp. It's almost perfect, but I can only give it 4 stars because of the poor usability of the power button. Having to hold for 3 seconds to power off was a poor choice by the designers. It should power off on a quick press, and hold for 3 seconds to change the brightness level or color temperature. To make matters worse, the power button is a stealthy ninja in a dark room. When I want to turn the lamp on, the room is dark, and not only can I not see the power button but I can't feel it either. It's a guessing game to try to find where to press. I was aware of all this from reading the reviews, and I understand the workarounds, so I was not surprised. It's the compromise I made choosing this lamp over the cheaper ones because I decided a sturdy gooseneck with plenty of lighting was more important than a stupidly designed power button. I highly recommend this lamp as a turntable lamp, but be aware that while using it you may utter some foul language from time to time.

The UberLight Flex provides plenty of light where I need it on my audio rack. It is more expensive than some lesser alternatives I've seen but it is well worth the extra cost imo. As I unboxed it the quality of construction made it clear that it is a well made light. The fact that it has lots of versatility built in is icing on the cake. The clamping mechanism is a good example. I've used other task lights that provided ok illumination but the clamp worked like it was an afterthought. The clamp on the UberLight Flex inspires confidence that it can be moved and manipulated without toppling over. An important feature for me when works on fragile and expensive phono cartridges.

I needed a light that was tall enough to fit over the dustcover for my VPI Prime turntable. This one was tall enough, and the clamp was large enough to fit on a 2 inch thick base. I may move the light to a lower shelf to get a better grip with the clamp, but as it is I can move it out of the way of the dustcover which needs to be removed for each use. The light itself is very bright, with three adjustable light as described; from warm to bright to super bright. The large light head can also be adjusted as well as the lamp itself so I get a good look at the record when I'm cleaning it on the turntable itself. The product also arrived well packaged. I've only had it a few days but it's exactly what I was looking for.

Vinyl lovers, This is a great light for using a turntable! This light has three color temperatures with three brightness settings per color so it is very easy to select the perfect lighting for cueing up records. Additionally, the light can be bent into just about any shape to get to the perfect angle to see the grooves. It's also very robust and doesn't move once you have selected a shape. In addition, the lighted end rotates making it ideal for cueing. Mine has the clamp, but a model with a base is available if clamping the light doesn't work for you. I'm very pleased with this unit!!!

Love this light. I am super sensitive to any 'flicker' in lights. This light has exceeded my expectations; well made, beautiful light I can adjust and I love the sleek design and ample cord length. Worth the money.
