Comfort Zone Multi Cat Calming 1 Room Bonus Kit, 1 Diffuser & 2 Refills

I have not written a review on Amazon yet and I purchase items weekly often more. I am in shock at the effectiveness of this collar! I have a male 5.5 year old cat who was neutered as a kitten and has been my baby. He has always been a high strung cat and needy, constantly meowing wanting held or treats but he would sleep with me, cuddle on the couch etc. Three years ago my daughter moved back home and brought her small dog with her and my neighbors moved in with two non-neutered males next door. My cat began marking/spraying. I tried all the Feliaway products in the rooms and the collar. Of course made sure the letterboxes were cleaned twice daily, that he had no medical conditions etc. In the last 3 years the problem had gotten completely out of hand to the point that whenever he was let inside the house he started searching for his spots to spray and within a minute he would mark his territory and if left to continue would endlessly do so. He also was now very high strung and didn't even want much attention and never came to sleep in our room. We finally decided to try the cat prozac which he had been given for about a week and half. However, my vet gave me a capsule that I had to open and sprinkler the powder on his food. He is so finicky that I wasn't getting much in him despite my efforts at buying anything and everything to sneak it into. At this point it hadn't done ANY good! I decided to give this collar a try and THAT NIGHT my cat completely relaxed, he came and cuddled and laid by us on the couch, something he hadn't done in probably 6 months. As always now I watched his every move inside the house and it has been a week and half and he has not sprayed ONCE!!!! He eats all his food with the prozac in it too! He plays with the other cats. He is back to his old self again. I am so grateful for this product. I was going to have to keep my cat completely outside and that was not going to be easy. I will update my review once it has been 2 months

First, you're going to find mixed ratings because what works for one cat, may not work for another. The only way to know if this will help your household is to try it. I have a tortie who constantly licks her belly as a soothing measure for anxiety. She has no fur on her belly and hasn't for years. A year ago we brought in a stray who was attacked and needed medical care for his eye. We then got him neutered, tested for diseases and kept him. He and my other cat his age are best friends. The tortie hates him and they fought. So we keep them separated when we're not home and keep the squirt bottle handy when they're free. I initially tried the more expensive brand of plug which didn't seem to help. Tried 2 varieties. Then I tried this one. My tortie still licks her belly. Jakey still makes warning noises at her. But he doesn't attack her. I still don't leave them out together when no one is home. I also don't leave these plugged in when I'm not home because they get warm- hot. But they do work. I had forgotten to plug the one in upstairs in Jakeys room for several nights. And he started going after her again. I've been more careful about keeping them plugged in when we're home and he is back to a few warning noises but no attacking. For me, it does what it needs to do. I only wish it worked without being plugged in. But I tried Feliway spray but that didn't help (my cats).

My vet’s office has these plugged in above every exam table and my cats have never been more relaxed and docile at exams before. I started using them at home years ago after my orange boi had his first round of cystitis. Initially, they worked really well. I wrote the date I installed them on both the diffuser and the refill so I’d know when to change them. However, after a couple of years of running three of them at a time (in less than 700sq feet), I realized they no longer had the same efficacy. They also have a tendency to get really messy, especially if you plug anything in above it. That oil gets on everything next to it). I now only use them for short periods of intense stress, like moving or during cystitis flare ups. There’s a noticeable improvement when using them that way, at least for the first few weeks. After a few months, I don’t notice any improvement at all. Unnecessary side note: I did use these when I lived with my ex years ago. One day, I got home a little bit earlier than he did after work. Changed out the oil cartridge, but other than that, did absolutely nothing else. He came home maybe 30m after I did so and remarked on how “fresh” everything smelled, he thought I had cleaned up lol so apparently it also works on moderately feral, now ex-boyfriends. YMMV :)

Really frustrated. Had been buying the singles, the duos with success then went and bought the six pack to save money 😣which cost a lot and then the issues really started. It's been beyond annoying. All the howling started up again and previous behavior issues. A huge huge bummer. Going went back to the smaller packs, but what a freaking waste of money and stress for cats and the household not to mention lack of sleep :(

**Disappointing and a Waste of Money** I purchased the Comfort Zone Multi-Cat Calming 3-Room Value Kit on 7/20/26, and it was delivered on 7/22/26. I immediately put it to use as directed, placing the plug-ins in my cats’ playroom, living room, and the room where our new kitten stays. Unfortunately, I have to say this has been one of the worst cat-related purchases I’ve made. I purchased this product because we recently welcomed a new kitten into our home. My 16-month-old tabby (Cat #1) has not been happy about the new addition. She has been hissing and swatting at her sibling (Cat #2), and she becomes more aggressive when she goes near the door to the room where the new kitten (Cat #3) is staying. This behavior is completely out of character for her. After reading the positive reviews on Amazon, I was excited and hopeful that this product would help reduce her stress and help her return to her normal, happy self. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I followed the directions and used the product in multiple rooms, but I have seen absolutely no improvement in her behavior. On top of that, the product has a strange smell that I find unpleasant. For me, this product was a complete waste of money. I really wanted it to work and was hopeful that it would help my cats adjust to the new kitten, but unfortunately, I have not seen any noticeable difference.

Our cats have always done well with no problems with aggression, spraying and going in the litter box. Until we rescued another kitten is when the problems started. Our boys eventually calmed down but our girls got so aggressive with the kitten. I was so happy to have found this product because it is what saved my sanity. I use 4 plug-ins in the house and change it out every 3 weeks. If I wait to 4 weeks to change the diffuser my cats start acting out again. It worked so well that we were able to rescue another kitten with no problems at all. When I first purchased these plug-ins it only took 24 hours for my cats to settle down. The girls seemed more calm and the boys were more loving to our new kitten. After one week of using this product my cats both the girls and boys acted just like they did before we got the new kitten. They stopped spraying and used their litter box. We have never had any problems with the diffuser over heating and causing any electrical problems. When I first plug it in it does have a slight plastic like smell but then it disappears. It can get pricy to keep changing the diffusers every 3 weeks but it is well worth the money to keep all of our babies happy. The second kitten we rescued worked out well with our other cats and I believe that is because we were using the diffusers. We also owned birds and I was worried about the diffusers potentially harming them so I did not plug the diffuser close to my birds and have never had a problem. I am a very happy customer and would recommend this item to my fellow cat owners.

I think this is the only review I’ve ever written, but I am sooooo thankful for this product. I have two 9 year old kitties who I adopted one week apart when they were 11 and 12 weeks old. They’ve been best friends since the day they met, but Lotus (female) has never been much of a playmate for Maceo (male) who basically tortures me every hour that I’m home and not giving him my fullest attention. Since I started working from home full time, I’ve been telling Maceo I would get him a baby brother to play with. A week ago, I brought home said baby brother (Louie) - a 10 week old idiot who is ruining our lives in the best possible way. He is a hell raiser!! Lotus spent the first few days hissing at him nonstop and Maceo tried to make friends, but could not understand why Louie kept jumping at his face and why Lotus was also mad at him when he had nothing to do with any of it. When Maceo started sleeping all day, stopped eating, and didn’t want much to do with me, I was devastated, so worried about him, and afraid I might need to take Louie back to the shelter even though I had already fallen in love with this little bundle of nonsense. Enter Feliway diffusers. One week after I brought Louie home, Amazon delivered three diffusers and the change happened within a matter of hours. Lotus has calmed down substantially - she still hisses at both of them occasionally, but they’re all so much better! Maceo has started eating healthily again and wants me to hold him and snuggle like he did before Louie came to live with us. The first night, they all sat on the couch with me and I even got a shot of Louie’s little paws on Lotus’ back and she didn’t swat him away! The second night, all three of them played together with the same toy for at least an hour. Amazing progress after how grumpy the older babies have been. I hope to see Maceo and Louie snuggling and playing together one day soon (I think they will if Lotus continues to calm down), but this has been a lifesaver just for the fact that Maceo is eating again. I’m watching the diffusers for leaking/any other problems as described in the other reviews, but I haven’t noticed any problems yet and if all this does is get us over this new baby hump, it’s the best $58 I’ve ever spent!! I love these! I don't have them plugged in all the time, but when a new cat comes into our household or when, for some cat reason, the cats get aggressive with each other, I plug them in for a month or two and things settle down. They are so simple to use, simply screw on a bottle and plug in, they don't take up the entire outlet so you can still plug in other devices, the design is modern and understated. They don't have a funky odor like some plugins I've used, so I like that. They usually last about a month so you have time to order more when you install the last ones. I use 3 at a time, one in each area where the cats spend a lot of time. They are very effective, taking cat interactions from fur flying fights to non-violent games of chase. That works for us!

Tengo una gata extremadamente nerviosa, recién adopté 2 gatos nuevos y se puso muy mal. Se escondía, se le empezó a caer el pelo, la veía muy decaída. Temí le fuera a dar PIF por estrés. Mi última esperanza era este producto ya había escuchado de las feromonas sintéticas. Debo admitir que sí funciona llevo apenas 3 días y ya se ve el cambio. Puede que no dure el mes completo pero el paquete trae 6 repuestos así que no me apura mucho. Veo a mi gata más tranquila y eso me da mucha paz. Ya no se esconde y luce cómoda con la presencia de los nuevos. Si me llegó uno un poco derramado pero creo que es normal por el movimiento de paquetería. No vienen sellados ni nada solo enroscados. No paso a mayores. Vale la pena, hagan el gasto. También ayuda a que ya no peleen tanto.

This is an amazing product that really works. We have a female cat in our household. Recently, we had our family visit us. They brought with them 2 male cats and a Golden retriever. Prior to their visit, we purchased Comfort Zone Multi-Cat defuser. Three days prior to the visit, we plugged the two defusers in our living room and in the upstairs area. As soon as the new pets arrived, they acted very happily. The two cats were running around the entire house freely and did not display any fear or anxiety. They were rubbing themselves on the surfaces and were happy with us petting them. They were even asking for belly rubs. One of the cats is usually very skittish and runs away and hides a lot but when he arrived here, he was a totally different cat. Even his owner said, wow, he must really be reacting to the pheromones. Our female cat was a bit scared of the two new cats and a big dog, but after two full days of avoiding them, she finally relaxed. Now she plays with the two cats and hangs around the dog with no problems. We made sure that if it ever looked like the cats might get into a bit of a conflict, that we would separate them and give them some time to chill. We are very impressed with this product. I can imagine that it would be hard adding just one extra cat into the household. With this product, we were able to add two cats and a big dog without any problems.
