The only active ingredient is listed on the label - Rutaecarpine 100mg. Because everyone's body is a little bit different your caffeine may be broken down faster than others, it could also be somewhat of a placebo effect. If you are expecting to be sleepy, your mind might help the process a little bit once you take that action you assume will make you sleepy. We have had some customers say the product works in as little as 30 or 45 minutes and others report it takes up to 2 hours.

Does it work for chocolate too?😗

Yes I think it does. I eat 86% cocoa dark chocolate every day as well as coffee.

Any reason this might function better than the one I’m using now that has the same single ingredient in bulk powder & costs a lot less per serving?

I found that this worked really well. I haven't used it in awhile however, I ran out and did not buy another as you said it is expensive. I didn't know there was another type. What is the one you take that is all powder?

I cannot do caffeine. i do decaf only. at night i realise i must have had normal coffee? will it take long to work?
