Little, Brown The Earth Book

Ótimo livro de um excelente escritor, porém não se confundam... Esse não é o "The Earth Book" e sim o "I Love The Earth" que é uma adaptação que contém somente partes do livro "The Earth Book". Mas não deixa de ser bom também além dessa diferença que não me atentei na hora da compra.

I teach English in German Kindergartens and used this book to talk about our earth and how to keep our earth clean and healthy. Through the pics and easy words the kids had lots of fun and understood the "rules". Also the poster was a great help. All in all, we had lots of fun with the book.

Todd Parr books are some of my favorite books to use with my students for speech therapy. I love the illustrations, the simple sentences used, and the kid friendly messages. I am able to use the book to target so many language goals and the kids love it.

Es un libro precioso, educativo, divertido, original. Lo recomiendo totalmente. tapas duras y de buena calidad. A mis hijos les encanta.

I read “The Earth Book” to a 2nd year elementary class in an Italian school. For part of “book week” the school asked if some parents could come in and read to the class. I picked the book because the it was main theme of the school activities this year and for the simple and easy language/concepts, considering I was reading to a class who are only learning English. The children loved the book and the illustrations and were able to easily comprehend the messages on each page. I would really recommend this book and it even inspired the teachers of the school to research other titles by the same author that they could use in class in the future.
