Will this fade in the sun?

Somewhat. Fast-drying paints have an evaporant that makes them more susceptible to fading over time.

Will these hold up on microwavable mugs?

I used these pens to fill in damaged spots on a vinyl plank floor. The paint held up quite well through at least 10 floor scrubbings with a machine. I have no idea whether the heat from a microwave would be damaging. At this time I have misplaced my pens, or I would be happy to try this out.

Do these work on Leather shoes

The description does not indicate that the pens work on leather, so I'm thinking not.
