I’ve used a more traditional metal garlic press previously and this is a noticeable improvement.The press itself works really well and seems to leave less garlic trapped inside than my old one. The standout feature, though, is the built-in wiper/cleaning system. It helps scrape the crushed garlic away from the press and makes clearing out what is left inside much easier afterwards.That sounds like a small thing, but anyone who uses a garlic press regularly will know that cleaning the little holes is usually the most annoying part. This design makes the whole process considerably easier and quicker.It also feels comfortable to use and requires no more effort than my previous press.Genuinely one of those kitchen tools where the extra design features actually improve the product rather than just being a gimmick. Very impressed with it.

Been considering buying this for a while and finally gave in. I can honestly say that I am so glad I did as it's the best garlic press I have ever used. I know there are cheaper options but this particular one is worth every penny. The size is spot on and really has made pressing garlic a breeze, easily handles a couple of cloves at a time. It seems very well made and and looks like it will last for years. Grip wise it would be nice if it had a slightly softer handle but it hasn't caused any issues with hand pain when using. The cleaning tool is a fantastic addition and helps ensure that nothing gets wasted and the press is easy to wash up. I also like the fact that it fits in the handle making it easily accessible and prevents it from getting lost.

Personally, I would buy a metal garlic crusher next time. Although this product is built well, I can't help but feel that the plastic is going to snap sometimes when I'm really pressing. And to be honest, you don't really need the little "window scraper" for the garlic... just use a fork or whatever utensil you have by hand... I give it four stars because it does get the job done relatively well, but I can't help but feel that there are better products out there for the same price.

Over the 50+ years of my life (so far) I've owned all manner of garlic crushing contraptions. Also, the fact it gets so badly coughed means the user either:A) wastes lots of their garlic by washing it down the sink during cleaningB) needs to spend ages pushing chunks the garlic through the clogged holes to salvage itThe model on this page uses both the front wiper mechanism and, brilliantly, has a small brush-like device stored in the handle. The stiff brush spikes align perfectly with the (clogged) holes on this device, one quick press, all those clogged pieces are pushed free. Turn that little brush-thingy around and the other (slightly curved) end can be used to scoop those little pieces out, extracting close to 100% of each piece of garlic you press. Magic.The handles seem sturdy without being overly bulky (at least, it fits my hand well), plenty of leverage to crush the garlic without feeling any strain. Aside from the messy the garlic is pressed through, the rest of this device is plastic. I believe it's dishwasher safe, but because cleaning any clogged pieces is so easy, I've found a quick rinse is so this needs.I cook almost every day, so I'm this is seeing as much use as it would get in any domestic setting. With all that in mind, I can't recommend this item highly enough, it's worth the little extra above the basic all-metal models.

A sturdy, well made garlic crush.It looks attractive and of good quality.I particularly like the added feature of the scraper that removes the excess minced garlic from the outer plate.It fits well in the hand and is comfortable to use. At the moment it is the thing I love most in the world. So glad I bought it. So easy to use and so easy to clean.

STRAIGHT OUT THE PRESS!!!Summary:... Looks nice, but isn't functional or efficient to use.Good ideas that haven't been executed well enough. with the extra tools and cleaning functions are underachieving.........I had been looking for a garlic press to replace my broken one, and was really excited to come across this one. At a glance, it seemed great - looks good, and extra features of the trigger swipe, and the tool for cleaning/scraping/poking seemed like a wonderful idea.Unfortunately, it doesn't actually function quite as well as hoped; the swipe of the blade doesn't scrape very well (there's a sizeable gap from the blade to the press surface) and the cleaner tool is clumsy and not great to use.It also makes cleaning and drying a bit more difficult because of the extra parts.The garlic crusher looks great, but not that user friendly.The angle in which the garlic presses out is awkward, and to have it facing down to come out means you'd have it held at an angle that makes gripping and pressing more difficult.It also doesn't seem to press that well. It's more like squashing. There's a lot more.squashed cloves left in the press than there is that comes out crushed.With all this, after having read many good reviews, I'd questioned if it was me that's not using it correctly, or if there were better ways...So I let peers try it out too, and their thoughts echoed mine.Next time I'll opt back to a simple, classic and effective one.

I love this garlic press! It works well for mincing garlic, but the best part is the trigger pull wiper blade, that easily cleans the minced garlic off of the press. On top of that, cleanup is a breeze. The cleanup tool works great for clearing the press chamber, and is perfect for clearing the holes. The best part is, it snaps snugly in the handle, so it doesn't get lost. I give it high marks for function and ease of use!
