Absolutely hands down the best
I got this to deal with clothes moths, but over the summer I discovered that I also had pantry moths flying in through the windows, probably from a neighboring apartment. I caught hundreds of them with this trap (nice to know it serves for both types of moths - that's not true of any other trap I've tried!!!). I had these side by side with another popular clothes moth trap brand, and these out-caught moths by something like a 10:1 ratio. It's so effective that it actually helps stop an active infestation - something no other trap can do. I was scouting down the last of a clothes moth infestation in my apartment, finding eggs & larva in all kinds of places: underneath furniture legs, on the floor under bookcases, under couch cushions etc. I like to think my cleaning helped, but I give a lot of credit to these traps as they kept catching moths even after I thought I'd found all the hiding spots. I've been 100% moth free for 2 months now. Fingers crossed! Also thanks to the detection of the pantry moths, I cleaned out my kitchen cabinets and sealed away anything a pantry moth might like, and so avoided having them set up shop. I never actually saw a pantry moth flying around, only found them in the traps so I would never have known to do this otherwise. And here's the best part: you can buy refills from the manufacturer's web site (Amazon doesn't carry them) so after the initial investment in the cardboard box container, they're cheaper than any other clothes moth trap. Changing out the sticky board was easy and quick. On the slightly negative side, the paper covering the sticky boards that came from Amazon were difficult to peel off, indicating they were probably old. This wasn't true of the refills that came from the manufacturer. Fortunately, it didn't appear to affect how well they worked.

Highly effective!
Thank goodness I found this product. I was at my wits end with a moth invasion in 4 closets. I didn’t want any moth balls that are toxic to pets and smell awful. I didn’t want any spray bombs either. I opted to try this product because I wanted something that was easy to use, safe, no odor, and highly effective. And this product gave me all of those things I was searching for in my challenge to get rid of those moths. After having caught a slew of moths, I emptied out the entire closet, cleaned it, disinfected it, got rid of the few damaged pieces in the closet, shook every single piece of clothing I had in the closet and returned them to a “moth free” environment. I highly recommend this product.

clothes moth traps trap moths.
I've tried several brands for a bad moth infestation, and these are the only ones that are literally covered with moths. Other brands that you fold into triangle-shaped boxes caught 5 - 10 moths per trap, versus this brand at 50-120 moths per trap over the life of the attractant. These supposedly last 3 months, but ours are still catching at 4 months. They won't stop your moth problem alone because they attract the males only, but they can slow it down and are great for monitoring. I take the peeled paper backing that reveals the stickum of the moth trap, put the curled backing on the wrapper, and lay it out as another moth trap. It will catch moths even with that small residual amount of attractant. When I first started using these, moths appeared instantly when I first peeled off the backing of the trap. I caught the first moths within a minute of putting them out. After months of using these, it's not quite so dramatic. Until I put the traps out I didn't realize we were dealing with two types of clothes moths. People have asked if these traps attract moths from outside. Yes, they do. The young moths are tiny, as are the regular beige-colored clothes moth adults, and can crawl through our window screens or any gaps around our old windows. But I’ve found that the benefit outweighs the risk, as I've seen the damage stop. As the weather turns colder, we'll close the windows, fumigate with a moth bomb, maybe sprinkle diatomaceous earth in the cracks and corners of the closet and floorboards, then air out with cold, moth-free air before closing up for the season. I'll place new traps then to keep monitoring. These traps work! They are saving a wool rug with heavy furniture on it that's hard to move to deal with them regularly. You need to identify whether you have pantry or clothes moths and buy the right trap, and you might need to experiment with where you place the traps to get the best results. Good luck!

Effective and works as advertised
Out of all the brands i've tried this brand has been the most effective against closet moths. Only reason it's 4/5 is that it can be hard to add back into the original trap.

These are magic!
I wrote a much longer review for the version of these that come with the hangers, since those were my first purchase. This review is for the refills, which obviously work just as well. I can’t believe how well these work. I’ll keep replacing them every few months to stay moth free. When I first tried them, I had only seen a couple moths here and there and didn’t think we had a problem yet. However, the very second I opened the package to release the attractant, moths started coming out from everyplace imaginable. It was like something out of a movie! I couldn’t believe I was completely surrounded by moths I had not previously known were there, and literally within seconds the paper started trapping them on the sticky surface. But the time I’d assembled the hanger, I’d already trapped over a dozen, and by the end of the day, the surface was completely covered, as you can see in the photo. Amazing! I’ll be ordering these every few months as long as they are available. The only thing you should know is that these refills come in packs of two, so that makes me think you have to have an even number of traps. It’s possible that the trap will stay effective until you remove the paper on the adhesive, but it seems like it is probably likely to dry out and lose some of its attractant once the package is opened. I don’t know that for sure, but it seems that way. Anyway, that’s just a tip for people who have an odd number of traps in different places, especially since Amazon sells a three-pack starter kit with the hangers. Whatever the case may be, these work like magic!

Effective; expensive; and difficult to install
It is effective and maybe one of the best. It is expensive compared to other but less expensive than the one that I have used. The issues are assembly and replacements. The instructions look simple. However there is not much space to insert the refill as you have to insert from either the top or bottom, and if any of sticky surface touches the housing case, which is made of paper, both the insert and the case will become not useful. You will lose $15+. For replacement it is a challenge. There is a fine sticky line on the back to hold it steady and you will need to lift it up. There is a good chance the sticky surface will stick to the housing case. Then you have to throw away the housing case - another $8 loss. The housing case is supposed to be re-usable but it is made of paper. They won’t last. Lastly there is always a chance part of the clothing items such as ties, strings, threads may touch the sticky surface

Worth the $$
yes, these are pricey. They are also the only traps I've bought that work on the sweater moths in my house. As soon as I put them up, they have moths stuck to them within 24 hours. I'd put up a pic, but I don't want to ruin your appetite, just imagine a piece of cardboards with bugs stuck all over it.
