Chirps Cricket Flour Chips - 5oz. (Pack of 3) (BBQ)

I saw this product on Shark Tank and I'm an adventurous eater. A friend gave me a honeycomb with the bees still in it. I ate them too! It was delicious! Sometimes I order bbq worms. All of these things are an excellent source of protein.

They taste like a corn chip. As for the cricket. When you read the package it says there is cricket In every chip. Well most food products are already permitted to have a lot of bugs parts anyway 🥴😂

The chips really aren't half bad, but they aren't anything special either. I got the bbq variant, and the flavor was muted to a degree and didn't taste similar to most other bbq chips. The consistency also was more of a cracker than a chip, but that's not really much of a downside. The chips taste okay, and for the price they were about right. I probably wouldn't buy them again, but I wouldn't be against eating them if I found them somewhere.

These are my favorite chip alternatives!! However I am very disappointed in the quality of these...I always purchase these IN STORE however have not been able to find them as I moved out of state. Ordering online seemed like a perfect solution but when recieving the product it had an OFF TASTE and TEXTURE that I'm familiar with, I opened 2 bags and both were opposite from each other just not as the ones i love and regularly eat and that's when I saw the EXPIRED date on the front of the bag! No wonder the taste and flavor was all off because it was NOT FRESH...probably salt around and sold the old products first without pay attention to HEALTH CODE details.

These chips are really wonderful - and a great example of what we can do with insect protein! If you aren't queasy about eating insect foods, this is a nutritious and tasty choice for snacking!

They tasted very good but they are mostly corn. A bit expensive.y son had a great time taking them to school and having classmates try them.

Taste not very good but I still ate all of these for the health value

We tried the sea salt flavor and the chips were very tasty going down, however, there was an overwhelming lingering aftertaste of onion powder. We both disliked the unpleasant aftertaste and the chips gave me horrible indigestion. I belched that awful onion taste for hours. My wife didn't get indigestion. I won't eat another of the chips; if they are eaten, it will be up to my wife. Win some; lose some :-) Your experience may be different.
