What kind of flashlights do you recommend with this Elzetta shotgun mount?

I purchased a Streamlight Black ProTac HL Professional Tactical Light - SL88040-P from Amazon, and have been well pleased with the light & the mount together. I'm sure there are other possibilities, but I could not name any.

So far, the mount looks like a winner, but.....do any of you advise the use of a laser in addition to the flashlight for home defense use?

If you feels it's necessary. However, the flashlight will more or less be your aim point on the shotgun so there isn't a real requirement for a laser.Lasers can however be intimidating (so maybe you won't HAVE to shoot, which is the best scenario that could happen!) and useful in hip shot situations, plus they can be fun on the range. So it's entirely up to you. Then again if a shotgun with a flashlight on it pointing at someone doesn't intimidate them I'm not sure a laser will make much difference.

Will this work on Mossberg 500E in .410 gauge?
