I think you'll want the smaller version. I'm 5'-9" and 150 lbs and bought the smaller size. It can accommodate different waist sizes. The main difference between the sizes is the length and where the lap belt falls around your mid-section.

Does osprey bladder work better? my aquamira 2l is so heavy it bends the flimsy plastic and makes opening the top compartment difficult

It works great! requires a little effort to get bladder in pack but worth it. Very functional bladder and backpack!
