So far so good. Works as it should.

Maybe I just got a defective product . But it’s only several months old and I am constantly having issues with the batteries . It barely spins and barely put out any corn . The battery tray is very loose , and won’t maintain a good connection . It worked fine for a few weeks at first but is constantly acting up after 2 months of use . Have tried changing the batteries and even tested the batteries to make sure they were fully charged . Do not recommend this product . Would not purchase again .

I bought this to replace a dead motor on my tripod drum feeder. It fits perfectly . It would also be a good solution for a DIY bucket feeder. Just cut a hole in the both of the bucket, mount this motor and hang the bucket from a branch using rope. Been working for several weeks without issue. Takes AA batteries and easy to program with up to 4 feeding times with different durations each day.

I have it mounted on my dock to feed the dish. So far no problems with racoons. I added a shield to the bucket (which you supply) so feed only goes into the water. I used a pool chlorine tab, 5 gallon pail because the lis seals well. This is the mechanism ONLY, the user supplies the bucket.

The unit's are compact, easy to install and with good AA batteries (I use Bevigors) batter changes are few and far between. They do a good job of scattering corn and if foreign objects are kept out of the corn I've never had a jam. However, with the test function failing on two units in a row, I have no interest in buying another, as the feeder I'm using them on is on a 10 foot tower that I climb, then have to essentially reprogram the unit to a feeding time that I've set, e.g, 7:30am, at which point the feeder goes off and throws corn in my face! Then I have to reset the time. It's just not worth the hassle.

Just get you a 5 gallon bucket pop a hole in the bottom and screw it on. Put batterys in it set it and there you go. Will buy more or the company can send me a free one lol

This feeder is junk, only works for a few days on a set of batteries, takes 4 AA batteries. I have tried 3 different brand of batteries, no difference on any of them. Would not recommend at all

Item arrived today. Package arrived in good nick, unit seems bell built but, I cannot currently get into it. The lid is so tight. I've tried all the normal things. Damp towel leather sofa for grip. Now I'm trying to expand the lid to get it to free.
