Van Ness 10-Pound Food Container with Fresh-Tite Seal (FC10) white

I was looking for an airtight storage container with an easy open lid that could hold the entire bag of catfood. Also one that would not take up alot of space. This item arrived new & undamaged. The sticker on the front peels off easily. Washed & dried it before placing catfood inside. This container looks small, but it holds alot. The footprint/size is perfect and it doesnt take up alot of space in my tiny pantry. To open, you unlatch the lock and lift the lid up. The lid swings open on a hinge & remains attached to the bin when open. The inside of the lid has a nice seal around it & when it's closed and latched down, it has an airtight fit. I poured an 8.5 lb bag of catfood in it with plenty of room to spare. I keep a small scoop in there as well. This bin could be used to store other things too, such as birdseed, potting soil, bulk foods, anything that needs to be stored in something with an airtight seal. I highly recommend this!! I got it on sale for less than $8, so the price was very affordable and I ordered it immediately before the price changed.

They sell these exact one in pet stores and some markets and they are so incredibly expensive, you get them on here much cheaper. And these really are the best especially for your dog food really does keep the food, nice and fresh, easy to keep in the cupboard and just pull out, get a little scooper or shovel the food. Your life will be so convenient. The plastic is nice and thick it does not feel cheap, makes me feel so nice and organized and stays very sealed.

At first I was hesitant in purchasing this item. We were looking for a small, inexpensive container which we would temporarily leave at a dog kennel. When it arrived, the first thing I noticed is that when opening the lid, it allowed full access to the dog food. You may think this is minor, but others on the market have, in my opinion, small opening which would make it difficult to remove dog food with a scoop. The second thing is the compactness and size. We wanted something that would not be bulky or take up a lot of space especially at a dog kennel. Lastly, It does actually hold 10 lbs. of dog food and maybe a little more (I purchased a 8lb bag and a 4 lb. bag-measuring 2 lbs. from it). I also purchased a 1 cup plastic scoop (from Amazon, the seller was: Hour Loop and the item is Chef Craft Select Plastic Scoop, white) and had no problem in closing the lid with the scoop in it - this would be easier for the kennel to distribute the food and keep it from being misplaced after use. I am sure it would keep the dog food fresh, but have no info on that, since it would only be used temporarily. I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend it. AAA+++

The seal is a snap lid and easy to open and close. So easy to use. I just store a 14 pound bag of cat food right near the bowl. The versatility is great for anything you want the durability and ease of cleaning. There was no smell of the container. I would purchase this again. Capacity is great.

I use this product to store my cats food instead of letting it go stale in the bag. It works as intended and at a great price. My only complaint is that the label on the container is not easily removed without some form of adhesive cleaner.

Finally found the perfect pet food container: The lid seals the food and keeps it fresh. The wide open is perfect to take out food with a small shovel. The 10lb (=4kg) container has just the right size to store a big amount of pet food and still can be lifted up or down easily. I go through a ton of dry cat food so I like to buy the larger bags and make less trips to the pet food store. This is the perfect way to keep the food tidy, fresh, dry, and keep any pests out! It seals up and latches very well and is very sturdy. I’m impressed with the quality. The cats are happy too so we all win! I’m really happy with this bin, I would even purchase a larger one in the future if I was to, say, adopt more cats lol

This thing keeps my pesky cat out of the dog food! It’s sturdy with a locking lid, it’s a good size for easy storing in cabinets or closets, and best of all, my cat can’t eat the dog food anymore! Just remember to keep the dog food in the bag when storing as dumping it into plastic can create mould and make your pet sick!

Great, compact product that easily stores a 4kg bag of dried cat food. The lid opens fully on a hinge so is dead easy to fill the cat's food bowls. Nice, secure catch and seal round the lid that keep the food fresh and my wicked, greedy kitty away from seconds (and thirds...). Also really like the smoked plastic effect as it's easy to see how much food's left and it looks a bit smarter than your average plastic tub. Highly recommended.
