194399280911- LP includes one 140-gram orange vinyl"&"nbsp;"&"nbsp; Review: JP Limited Edition for president - Various versions of this album exist. If you are taking the time to research which songs are part of each one in order to get as many tracks as possible, this might help you. I purchased this knowing it was 15 tracks & crossing my fingers that it wouldn't just be bonus remixes. JP Limited Edition (2011 Sony Music Japan International Inc.) [UPC 4 547366 061888] Here is the track listing: 01 Helena Beat 02 Pumped Up Kicks 03 Call It What You Want 04 Don't Stop [Color On The Walls] 05 Waste 06 I Would Do Anything For You 07 Houdini 08 Life On The Nickel 09 Miss You 10 Warrant bonus tracks 11 Broken Jaw 12 Love 13 Chin Music For The Unsuspecting Hero 14 Pumped Up Kicks [The Knocks Speeding Bullet Remix] 15 Houdini [RAC Remix] There are two insert booklets included, one (color) English and one (b&w) Japanese. The English insert includes lyrics to all of the standard version tracks (01-10). Fear not, the Japanese insert, which is a little smaller (and fits well in the fold of the other for safe storage), has the lyrics for the bonus tracks in both English and Japanese. I'm not actually sure if "Broken Jaw" is available on CD other than the JP LE. It is available in digital via non-Amz & is a stand-out track (hence the finger crossing, heh). "Love" and "Chin Music" can be found on the Columbia Deluxe Edition, but I paid less for this one than that version would have cost me online (and as for trying to find one from BestBuy, I could not). As for the music, it's indie dance pop bliss. Each song has unique musical aspects, but overall the sound remains uniform, so transitions throughout are kept smooth. Lyrically, the album is very entertaining, often amusing. The tracks are upbeat and uptempo, & there are many moments which give you a time-travel rush, so if you dig the first couple of tracks, you are unlikely to get bored with the extended playlist. I urge you to, if undecided, taste first. All of the bonus tracks can be found for a quick (fan-provided) stream, and some of the standard tracks can be streamed from the official Foster the People site. Review: The best first album - The best first album from one of my favorite bands ever, I love every album they have. Each albums is unique in their catalogue as well as being musically unique and showcasing Mark’s incredible craftmanship. If you only know them from Pumped Up Kicks? Give all of their songs a listen, PUK actually fades away and you won’t find yourself listening to it much as you discover all the absolute amazing songs Mark Foster has crafted! Foster the People over all of their years of members leaving has continued to be a special band with quality album work. The vinyl arrived well packed and in perfect condition, and I have not noticed any defects. I always feel like people are too quick to blame skips on the vinyl instead of the vinyl player, but I am old school and don’t think these new trendy cheap vinyl players have the quality we had when vinyl was THE standard choice!

Incredible music like this only comes out once in a blue moon...
I love Foster the People. This band is incredible. Their fusion of electronic with a sometimes Brit pop sound with the occasional alternative rock guitar throw in here and there make it must listen. Mark Foster is an incredible song writer, and his melodies are so catchy that you'll find yourself singing them all day in the car, the elevator ride to your office, at your desk, and in the shower. I can't stop listening to this album, and I was so wanting to hear more music from them since I bought the 4 track EP way earlier this year. And I have to say my favorite songs on the album aren't even the ones released on the EP (even though those are really good regardless). My favorites tracks are Call It What You Want (just a fun upbeat in your face lyric type of song), Waste, I Would Do Anything For You (a beautiful fun love song that'll make you shake your booty), and Life On The Nickel (a mega electronic infused drum beat with tribal sounding toms throughout the jam; such a great freakin' track). If you like electronic and house music and also the occasional Brit pop sound (especially on the last song Warrant where Mark Foster using a lo-fi effect on his voice). The song Don't Stop has such a Blur sound to me. Foster the Peopl are a force to be reckoned with. Just sayin'. I'm going to see them again tonight. Twice in less than three months is awesome!!! Terrific album. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Ranks right up there with Syntax's Meccano Mind album frojm 2004. Just great great music. Pascal

Oh Em Gee.
Five stars. Ten stars. A hundred stars. I regret giving five stars to anything in the past, because none of it approaches how mind-blowingly awesome this album is. As others have said, Foster the People are masters of alternative/indie dance rock. I've seen the comparisons to MGMT and Passion Pit, but this is so much more. Those bands are midgets compared to this giant. Every single song on this album is a hit, better than any hit by any band of this nature in recent memory. Every. Single. Song. The beats and hooks are simply unbelievable. This album will make you dance until you pass out. It will cheer you up when you are having the worst day of your life. It will make you drive fast and scream along in public, embarrassing yourself. If you listen to this in bed with headphones on, you will dance in your bed and wake up your significant other. I am honestly grateful that this band exists and that I have found them. I have not felt this way about music in a long time - possibly ever. Buy this, and buy a copy for everyone you care about in the world.

Great album
13 year old daughters birthday gift. She loved it. Quick delivery. It would be quicker if Amazon would actually deliver, or use UPS, like they used to. Ever since they switched to USPS in this area, prime is not prime anymore. The USPS in this area does not have the same regard for getting packages to customers when they are there. They always say "come back tomorrow" or close too early to pick up after work.

Awesome stories aren’t only about romance—they gotta dig into heavier things too!

I realise I use the term delivers a lot when reviewing music albums, but genuinely the reason is because the times it's used it's due to the album living up to my expectations. I enjoy music, I enjoy Foster the People and even though I've heard pumped up kicks literally 100s of times, I still enjoy it when it comes on. They aren't a 1 trick pony and this album is a good little time capsule that helps me remember a great time in my life and the fond memories!
