Will this help on tile flooring to keep house warm ?

This product is designed to be installed under wood flooring, not tile. If you try to put it under tile, the tile will not be stable. You need a rug.

how thick is this underlayment?

1/8-3/16"; the felt is slightly uneven in thickness but this has no effect on supporting flooring. The vapor barrier membrane is quite thin.

I'm considering purchasing an upstairs condo where i know you can hear neighbors. if i treat the floors with this before i move in, will it help?

We used it on a second floor to make it quieter for the first floor. It did help some. It probably helps reduce noise coming up from below too, though that was less noticeable

Can i used this if its nail down
