Does this work to get rid of cloudy look on electric stove top

I was not aware of a cloudy look, I was very satisfied with this product

I like this product except for the scraper. the problem i have is the blade slips down and i can't get it to come back up. any suggestions?

Sometimes it gets stuck do to rust or residue of what you scrape, I have used this product/scraper for years and it happens, I just buy a new one
