Make sure it’s level when you install it.
I have the airport windsock on a offshore trawler that I captain. Works well, it’s been thru 60 mile winds unscathed!

Well built,should last for years.
I bought this one to replace a cheap one that degraded in the sun after less than a year. “The Airport Windsock Corp” product is well made and looks like it will last for years. Yes, it mounts on ¾ inch NPT, but you need a coupling not just the pipe. Mine was here in two days from the factory in Lake City MN.
