Never been more excited about storage containers, but I guess that’s my life now. I’ve been doing way more baking during this very interesting spring (better to stay home orders) and needed a better option than always pulling the bag of flour out of my pantry. My last bag got a hole towards the bottom where the paper was weak from the wrinkles and pressure......this is when I came to amazon for a solution. This is it! This is the real deal best solution to my flour storage! I don’t have the counter space for more decorative flour containers, I don’t like the added clutter. These stores so nice and neat in my pantry so much so that it makes my heart happy. I love that not only does it come with stickers so you can write what is in the containers, but for me (again don’t like all the clutter) I don't want to add the stickers, they have different color bands in the lid! A very nice mute green and blue that is perfect for me to tell my flours apart without having to add the stickers. The stickers are really nice though and I know others would love putting them on and adding pretty script with the included pen. Not just the chalk pen and stickers, but the containers also came with scoops! I love them! I love the shape! The quality of everything is perfect, the plastic is nice, thick and sturdy, as well as the lids. Would make an excellent gift also! Housewarming gift? The box is nice and pretty as well and I appreciate the safety seal on it. If you need flour storage or any other larger storage options these are perfect. Man does it feel good to be organized :). This set arrived on Friday. I definitely like how airtight it is. I used one container for a 10lb bag of flour. It fit about 9lbs of the flour only 1lb remains in a baggy and for the other container I put some of a 20lb bag of rice in the container. The Chef's Path company who sells this also included a White marker, 8 labels to write on, and a set of 4 measuring scoopers. It helps keep things organized in my cabinet. I also noticed if you use flour and powdered sugar and leave it in the cabinet without being airtight it tends to get Weevils which are when female beetle deposits eggs into the flour causing those larvae to form weevils. Many people still eat it, but eggs can't be seen so I suggest you get an airtight container such as this and prevent it in the first place. This container is working as of now and is keeping my rice and flour fresh. I plan on buying more, but for now I would like to test it since I have only had it for a few days. These containers due their job by keeping out unwanted bugs and keep my cabinet neat, I definitely recommend them especially if you purchase 10lb bags of flour or rice.
