Put this up 7 years ago. no problems. no rust. looks like new. You might have to be a little bit handy to install it yourself, but it's well worth it compared to the other cheap stuff on the market.

Delivered in a well packaged box. No damage to product. (I write this because another similar product I ordered came wrapped in just bubble wrap and had a dent, so I returned it and ordered this one.) Easy to install. Looks awesome!

First one came with no mounting flanges so I returned it and ordered another one which also came with no flanges, just a chrome rod. So if you are in need of a chrome rod with no way to mount it to the wall then this is right for you

I kept buying those screw in shower rods that kept falling off and I could not get them tight enough so gave up and bought a REAL shower rod and like this one much better.

Much better than tension rods, which can slip and pull paint off the walls. But the order only came with one mounting bracket. I contacted customer service and never got a response. So I did a return but held on the the first one until the new one arrived. Sure enough, it had only one bracket. So I kept the two brackets and returned only the rod. The.n came installation. The brackets have a tiny flange—bad design IMO. So you must cut the rod exactly the width between the walls!! I left 1/8 inch I thought to help with install and the rod just dropped out when moved slightly to one side. I finally got it hung using a rubber grommet on one side. Took me 2 hours to figure that out. Looks great and is strong now. But the flanges should be at least 1/2 inch to allow for a slight error in cutting. Finally, there is no hardware for install where there are no studs. You’ll have to use your own wall anchors. For me it was worth the effort to get rid of the tension rod.

A little harder to install than a normal permanent shower rod. But once it's up, it's looks great!

good quality for this price

Like many other customers who left reviews, I received this product without the mounting hardware. I initiated a replacement/refund and ended up in a text chat with Amazon customer service. After a bit of negotiating they agreed to give me a 50% discount, which is almost enough for me to get decent flanges. Overall I don't think much of the rod / pipe -- it seems to be of very basic quality and not worth even 50% of the price I paid. But it will do. Caveat emptor.
