SAMSUNG Galaxy S21+ Plus 5G, US Version, 128GB, Phantom Black - Unlocked (Renewed)

I needed an unlocked phone to use in Italy and Austria. I bought this S21+ along with an "Orange Holiday Europe" SIM card. The phone arrived in excellent condition, with no scratches or dents. The screen appeared to have been replaced. After setting it up, I tested it by installing SIM cards from AT&T and TELLO, both worked perfectly - it's definitely unlocked. Right before the trip, I installed the "Orange" SIM card with the phone powered down. Upon arrival in Italy I powered it up, and it immediately connected to the local service. We used Google Maps to get from the airport to our hotel some 50km's away, no problems at all. Photos taken on the trip were excellent. We installed Google Translate and Microsoft Translator which worked perfectly and were a real asset in helping us navigate the foreign signs, menus, etc. We also set up Hot Spot and Tethering, and used that along with wireless calling on our US SIM based phones to make and receive free calls and texts to/from US numbers. It all worked as expected with no issues. There are two minor issues to report. The battery life was OK, I would start each day at 100% but by end of day it typically had around 30% remaining. My new (locked) S23+ easily gets two days on a single charge. I did notice a minor blemish on the screen after a week of using it. At first I thought it was just a greasy smear, but no amount of cleaning has managed to remove it. I didn't notice this when I first received the phone so it most likely manifested after use. It would seem to be a flaw with the screen itself. I did not use a screen protector, which may or may not have helped to prevent it from occurring. Fortunately it's close to the bottom of the screen and has not really affected the viewing area, nor has it affected the touch screen in the area of the blemish. All-in-all I am happy with this phone. I plan to use it for future international trips as it can do what I need without having to pay the $10-a-day AT&T International Roaming plan - that soon gets very expensive with 2 or more phones.

I've been using the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus for a while now, and I have to say — I'm really impressed. The phone not only looks premium, but it also feels amazing in the hand. The display is another highlight — large, bright, and very smooth thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate. Everything from scrolling to watching videos feels really fluid. Overall, the Galaxy S21 Plus is a fantastic phone. If you're someone who loves taking high-quality photos and appreciates a stylish design, this device won’t disappoint

The phone I received (after I had logged into my Google account and transferred personal data to the device); was found to have a 3rd party app still installed which CLAIMED OWNERSHIP OF THE PHONE. Uninstallation of the app, which said that it had administrative privileges and that anyone with access to the base program could view/alter content of the phone; was allowed, yet the app warned it may leave residual holes in the phones security. After deleting the app, I notified Amazon about this seller potentially selling devices which were not completely initialized and may still be under the control of the device's previous owner. Since I don't sell/send-off data storage devices which I have entered personal information into, I will not be opting to swap for another potentially more defective unit. It has now been discovered that this device drops connection from WiFi without notification nor any indication of connection loss- except that messages cannot be received over WiFi until the WiFi connection is disconnected/re-enabled or the phone is restarted: this seems to happen almost daily and will likely force me into an unlimited data phone plan, on account of needing reliable connection while at home- assuming it won't require the SIM card to be removed and reinserted due to a similar issue with cellular connectivity. Company declined to refund me anything, citing that the 50% refund I requested was "more than they would ever offer;" yet I believe they were reluctant to offer any partial refund, due to my notifying them that I threw them under the bus to Amazon's customer service. This is the type of device reseller who would shamelessly sell stolen property- because they can always offer a device swap if they're found out. They are unaccountable for tricking Amazon customers into trusting devices they were in charge of making safe/secure for the customer, yet they are wholly unaccountable to the potential damages which their negligence may allow. Due to this experience, my family will no longer trust Amazon's refurbished phone resellers, like we have in the past.

I came from a Galaxy 10 Note + and I'm so glad I went for this version with the larger screen. You may have to tweak some settings to get the battery to last all day but it seems to be a nice upgrade from my last flagship Samsung, so far I'm impressed even though this one is a few years "old". I bought an unlocked version, which I highly recommend, but you may need to be somewhat tech savvy to get your carrier to "accept" them. I like the more sleek feel. I'm glad I got this larger 6.7" screen. Beautiful display, but it can be a resource hog! Takes great photos.

works well if you plan to replace it after a year or two. in my experience, refurbished phones always come with an issue or two. in the last two galaxy phones ive has dirt has entered the face cam lens and makes it blurry. I do find them to be reliable for everything basic and then some

I got this phone for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it. The battery life is 💯 does not overheat. Space is good. This phone was purchased renewed in excellent condition. It has a few scratches but apart from that it works like a brand new device. I recommend buying with this vendor. They will not disappoint!

I was hesitant to make the switch to 5G, but this phone was definitely worth it. Honestly I don't know what else you could ask for in a phone and I envision keeping this for a long time. Many drops so far and no cracked screen. Battery life could be better but it works for me.

UPDATED REVIEW After a couple of months I started to have a lot of issues with this phone like people hearing echoes on my calls and me having to restart my phone to stop it, or the emergency sound going off randomly, or my speakerphone not working, etc. Very frustrating. I have had the phone for 7 months so I'm not eligible for a return and I'm really disappointed because now I regret buying this refurbished phone. I caution buyers to make sure they test everything within the 3 month window if they buy these phones. I will not make this choice again. ... INITIAL REVIEW I am so glad i purchased this phone. It looks brand new and I've had no issues with it. Great price and service. The seller gave me a refund of $10 because the charger didn't work which was a minor thing for me as I had the one from my old Samsung phone. Noregrets. Highly recommend.

Lo compre de grado excelente, sabiendo que ahi uno mas arriba que es el premium y viendo experiencias de otros usuarios sabia que era una loteria el estado fisico y de bateria en el que me podria llegar, esperaba algunos rayones y marcas de uso, pero mi sorpresa fue que me llego en su caja original y "SELLADA" con un golpe en la caja en una de sus esquinas, y pense que probablemente por eso no se vendio como de linea en su momento, pero al revisar bien vi que las dos etiquetas con las que venia sellada era un mini instructivo de como activar el telefono en ingles, al romperlas y sacar el telefono de su caja me sorprendio el estado inmaculado del telefono tenia incluso el protector de pantalla de cuando se compra nuevo pero en el puerto usc c y los orificios del altavos tiene polvo de mucho tiempo ahi pegado (foto), lo que me lleva a concluir que estubo en exibicion fuera de su caja pero apagado pues la pantalla no tiene fantasma o algo asi que muestre deterioro, incluso trae su cable origina nuevo y no uno generico como he visto que les ponen a algunos que ya han tenido algun uso por otros usuarios. no venian ningun instructivo solo el cable y el pinchito para sacar la bandeja sim. al querer encenderlo veo que la bateria esta totalmente agotada y solo tenia la preocupacion pues una bateria que de descarga totalmente y se queda asi por mucho tiempo podria incluso ni siquiera retener un poco de carga, como se diria la bateria estar muerta, lo pongo a cargar al 100% y como prueba entro a netflix y a brillo medio y sonido al 100% pongo a reproducir una pelicula que dura 2 horas y exactamente me bajo el 10% cada hora de reproducion. por experiencia propia tiene mas del 95% de vida la bateria. tengo el redmagic 9s pro (supuestamente el telefono mas potente que existe, mucho mas que el S24 ultra probado) y en la msima prueba me baja el 15% de bateria por hora siendo este ultimo de 6000mha. queria este telefono como mi segundo telefono pero con todo lo que trae ahora tengo el dilema de cual usar como principal pues aunque es mucho menos potente que el redmagic, el S21 plus tiene mejores camaras, carga inalambrica, contra el agua ip68, mas delgado y estetico, y el samsumg dex que funciona inalambricamente con mi smart TV OLED. y el redmagic es tan potente que ya me pase los 3 ultimos juegos de zelda de la N. switch cosa que ni de broma se podria en el s21 plus, que iria entr 15 y 25 fps en el breath of the wild mientras que en el redmagic en modo diablo va entre 35 a 50 fps y limitandolo a 30 va siempre constante. supongo que tuve suerte, mi hermana me pidio uno para ella pero le estuve explicando que le podria llegar uno usado y mostre algunas calificaciones de otros compradores y decidio no arresgarse, pues lo queria minimo en el mismo estado que el mio, cosa que no le vendere para pedir otro para ver como me iria con la compra jejeje.

First time I try a refurbished phone. But the price and phone capabilities were basically to good to be true... So I decided to go with the "excellent" option. There is not a scratch, dent or anything on this phone. It is immaculate, it's new. Yes it comes in a generic white box and has a usb-c cable and the sim port ejector. No charger. But if you buy this phone new, it does not come with a charger anyway.... I inserted my sim card, powered on the phone, followed the on-screen direction and done... Even the OS was already updated to Android 12... I then used SmartSwitch and transferred my data to the new phone. Done. Everything works!! We did have an issue with delivery, but that was a Canada Post problem and the supplier resolved the issues right away. Excellent phone, excellent supplier!! I would buy again from this supplier without thinking twice!!

EDIT: After the issues with my first phone (see below), Amazon refunded me and told me to order again. The condition was listed as "New". I ordered a replacement one and it worked well for a couple months... until it got very slightly wet. This phone was advertised as "New" condition when I purchased it. But even though a new version of this phone is waterproof, this phone was not remotely waterproof and just a couple drops of water resulted in a fried motherboard and a ruined phone. This was not advertised correctly to the customer in anyway. Both of the phones I ordered had issues and ended terribly. Amazon is also refusing to refund even though they sold a defective product!!! Very upset with the situation. I can not urge you strongly enough to NOT buy this. Original Review: Phone arrived looking good - no visible scratches anywhere as far as I could tell. When I went to setup the device, it asked to register my fingerprints to have access to Samsung Pass and other features that require your fingerprints. The scanner would not register. I suspect that when refurbishing the device they either did not reconnect the scanner or they damaged it in some way. In any case, after 1 hour on a call with samsung customer service, they confirmed that it was in fact defective and needed servicing. I contacted the Seller (A-1 wireless inc) by phone and they told me to return the device through Amazon. I'm in that process now and will update once the refund has been processed. Ordering a replacement now and will see if the next one arrives working as advertised.
