Hampton Nautical It Floats 12" American Floating Sailboat Hampton Nautical Model Ship

The first one I ordered looked like it had been used, the sails were stained. Then I forgot to send it back. Fortunately it's expensive and the second one I ordered was new and looks nice.

For my young nephew who knew every type of boat and needed one that floats. It looks beautiful when not in use.

Got this in 2015 for baby shower nautical theme decor. IT was def cute and a hit. I didn't assemble but my DH said it was easy and had it done in under a couple of minutes. We still have it on our shelf and love it.

Paint globs everywhere. Paint is not straight. Deck arrived covered in dust or dirt or something, it was gross. Tiller etc were glued on, glue was visibly oozing out from under every piece. What wasn’t glued on were the tiny eyelets that hold the rigging, three of which popped out when trying to attach the admittedly very nicely finished sail and clever rigging. Be aware: the keel is just a piece of unbalanced and very sharp steel; this thing would never float without listing and should under no circumstances be given to a child. This is $5 garage sale quality merchandise being sold for $30. Ugly on its own; too expensive and too much repair for this to be the basis for a project. Honestly it’d be a value if it weren’t finished at all (rather than being finished poorly) and had a well designed, attractive and functional keel.
