This is assembled and in our garage until the snow melts. Suitable for most ages, although kids under 5 might do better with the tradition version. It dies build hand eye coordination. One can play single or challenge someone to a match. We weighted the bottom with some tube sand but you can fill with water. The base is suitable for concrete, grass or sand. Everything packs up into a nice case for travel or storage. It’s tetherball with a real tennis ball and shorter, heavier rackets. The pole adjusts to 70” with a spiral top. There are 2 pro style bats or heavy paddles that will give older kids and adults some exercise and a little fun. Power off the electronics and have fun!

This is such a fun family activity. My screen addicted teens love to play it, alone and together. The only problem is the base. The provided base is not secure enough when strong people are pounding away at it. I use to have one that screwed into the ground and that one was better and more stable, but eventually the ground would soften and you'd have to create a new hole. But if you can figure out a way to stabilize the base, it is fantastic. I used an umbrella base and filled the gap with sand, then taped over to keep sand from flying out and it's solid!! We've been playing for hours and it hasn't tilted over once.

Don't bother with this item. The idea is great and fun for however long it lasts, which could be a month or six months. Whichever it is, the tether will break, and unfathomably, this company does not sell replacement tethers. We have tried to use other tethers that we could even find and the elastic has too much spring. My family has tried two of these and they both had the same issue. Certainly not worth the money.

I have 7 and 8 year old grandsons who love to play with this in the backyard. I bought it in December, set it up in January, and it's now April, the ball broke off the tether and the company does not have replacements and the return and support window is closed so there goes $80.00. Super unforturnate as the boys really enjoyed the game. O on lasting quality and help!!

The kids have enjoyed this so far. It's a much simpler and portable version of the old tetherball game we used to play as a child, minus the huge truck tire filled with cement :D Easy to set up and use once you fill the tank (so its steady). Then you have 2 rackets and a ball that hangs by a thin rope. The idea is to hit it enough that it spins to the top or bottom (depending on which one is your "home") Once you get there, you win. Nice clean indoor or outdoor fun for the kids - and adults!

THE RAQUETS ARE GREAT BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS OF LOW QUALITY, THE BOX THAT YOU FILL TO WEIGH ALL DOWN IS CHEAP THIN PLASTIC. THEY ALSO NOT LONGER HAVE THE SCORING SYSTEM BUILT IN. DISSAPOINTED IN THE QUALITY FOR THE PRICE.

Soo much fun for the family! Everyone - old and young enjoyed this tether pole game. Easy to assemble, put weights instead of sand or water in base and was steady. Comes with 2 raquets that store easily on pole. Highly recommend, good fun! Even able to play indoors because comes with clip to safely shorten the string and it doesnt interfere with play!
