Smells kinda funky but....
The scent isnt all that great but it makes my skin feel wonderful.

Chemical smell
I have used, and liked, the regular Mysore Sandal soap and thought this would have the same fragrance. There may be a bit of sandal aroma but it is overwhelmed by an unpleasant chemical smell. Unfortunately I bought the 6 bar pack. I will go back to the regular Mysore Sandal soap. This version does leather and rinse well though.

great soap
I love this soap. The ingredient list is so clean, and sandalwood is so therapeutic (in addition to the wonderful smell). I could never go back to American brand name soaps.

The scent is more 'generic soapy' than sandalwood
I mean the sandalwood scent is there, it's just weaker than I had hoped & weaker than the other brands I've tried (but can no longer find). It's ok... but not what I had hoped for at all.

Horrible scent and possibly harmful chemicals.
I ordered this before reading other reviews but tried it after reading all reviews. A few people referenced a urinal smell and I figured they were just nutty. Guess what? It's the smell of wet activated naphthalene that is put into urinals to mask the urine smell. Think moth balls. Toward the end of the ingredients list there are two chemicals that may be the culprits. Not sure. They are namely: Methylisothiazolinone and Chloromethylisothiazolinone. They are preservatives and biocides and not good for you. I'm tossing my soap. Google "Effects of chloromethylisothiazolinone/methylisothiazolinone (CMIT/MIT) on Th2/Th17-related immune modulation in an atopic dermatitis mouse model" for specifics.

Six bar soap
This is a complete scam. I ordered six bars of soap, but I received only three. I have no idea what happened to the other three; my money has been lost. This is an absolute fraud. Please help me find a way to get justice.
