KaPOW Lice Battle Kit

After trying many other major name brands and failing I decided to give this one a try. It was a bit spendy but price was not a concern for me. You get what you pay for. This stuff actually worked, after 1 treatment! However I am following directions and continuing treatment. I treated her hair, kept her sheets changed, and stacked her stuffed animals in the closet and she hasn't gone near them. I didn't have to go all crazy bagging up the house and vacuuming, I just followed the instructions and it worked. Its a thicker product, but spreads throughout the scalp easily. I just followed the instructions, parted out the hair with the provided clips, followed directions for putting the product in the hair, used the blue comb to brush it throughout, and then the metal fine tooth comb after the product was in. It was kind of hard to rinse out, my 12 year old wanted to do it herself as shes getting shy, I wish she would have let me help her rinse it out. It has an oily texture so hot water, and maybe some dawn dish soap would be best to get it out, however I just let her sleep with the oily hair and it washed out after her next shower. I think the fact that its thicker and oily is what is actually killing them. Other products seemed watery but they washed out super easy. My daughters hair is THICK and CURLY. I wish I would have found this stuff before hacking off her long hair. Before when I tried other products and they didn't work, I broke down and cut her hair. It was down past her butt and I hacked it up to her shoulders :'( She eventually liked it, but it was a big deal for us. Had I used this product first, I might have been able to get rid of the lice and keep her long hair. Her hair grows fast so I am not to worried, but I am impressed how well this worked in her thick curly hair. Other major brands I had to use 2 bottles to cover her roots, not even saturating all of her hair, just focusing on the roots. This product supplied PLENTY and a little went a long way. When I massaged it into her scalp, the heat between her head and my hands helped it spread super easy. It made combing a lot easier, the metal comb goes right through the hair, no pulling. I hope that we will never battle head lice again, its one of my biggest fears being as we both have thick curly hair and its a pain, however if we do this will be my go to. I am going to order another box just to keep on hand for emergencies! I love that it contains everything you need including some great instructions. HIGHLY recommend! If you've ever done the lice battle before or this is your first time, you wont regret this purchase! Skip all the other major brands and go straight for this one.

I highly recommend this product! My daughter had lice and i treated it with Nix and i thought it was gone but was wrong. Treated it again with Nix but then i found this treatment and read all about it and talked to the owner of the salon Ilene and she was so helpful with everything i had to ask. I treated my daughter with this product and got everything out with first treatment even the eggs! I am so happy and definitely will be recommending this to anyone that had the same issue as we did.

An absolute LIFE SAVER! Called the CLC late one evening when I was at wits' end, expecting to get an answering service. Instead, I spoke with one of the creators of this fine product!! I was shocked....and grateful for the education I received and the reassurance I was given. After several failed OTC remedies, a trip to the pediatrician, and 2 rounds of prescription medications for my children, I didn't know what else to do. KaPOW was super easy to use and smelled great too! I took comfort knowing that I was using a product that was SAFE for my kids. True to their claims, the lice were killed after the first treatment and ERADICATED by the end of the treatment course. We have been lice-free for 3 months now!! Seriously parents, THIS WORKS!! Keep a kit at home, because lice have become nearly immune to those other OTC kits (RID, Nix, etc), and decreased success with costly prescription medications. I bought this for a friend that was battling lice in her home for months, kids kept bringing it home from school. Nothing she used worked especially the heavy chemical stuff. Sort of jokingly, I sent this to her after she had tried so many things and I really wanted to visit her but was too freaked out with the nuts around. Guess what, this worked like magic. After just one treatment her whole family was free of nits. And they stayed away. They followed the instructions and treated 4 people in the house 3 with very long hair. So I guess the amount of product was adequate. So glad this worked for them. Will def recommend to others.

My daughter has had lice before and I’ve tried several other treatments including Rid and store brands and none of them come close to how effective this one was. Worth every dollar. IMPORTANT note: I found that it’s more effective with removing live lice than nits (eggs) so I HIGHLY recommend going through the hair and removing left over nits after washing out the treatment. I used a head lamp for extra lighting. Make sure you follow instructions. 99% of lice fell out dead. It’s messy and oily so wear an old shirt and have extra napkin/towels on hand.
