Le Creuset Signature Glass Lid, 8"

I have been looking for a smaller pan for eggs and this is it!! I want to get the whole set. Very durable easy to clean and I love the design.

I wanted to make a safe top-of-the-stove crockpot and needed a lid for my stainless steel Le Creuset Essential 4 quart sauce pan so I got this 8” lid. It’s a little loose but it will work just fine for my needs.

this lid and the Le Creuset pan I bought have brought my omelette and egg techniques to a whole new level. The pan cooks so evenly, consistently, and reliably that my family, who would live on eggs if I let them, are overjoyed with how much better breakfast is since I purchased these items. My old pan would stick, cook unevenly, and seem to randomly decide how quickly my eggs would cook that day. It left my feeling less than confident in the basic egg cooking department. I never would have thought that it was as simple as getting a high quality pan. This llid and pan have allowed me to cook eggs to order (over hard, sunny side up,, etc.) perfectly every time (as long as it is not chef errort!!! I never would have thought that a pan or lid could make such a difference in a basic omelette or scrambled eggs in terms of my ability to rely on it to do what I needed it to. I am pleasantly surprised and now will not hesitate to continue to purchase le creuset items in the future, despite the sticker shock.
