The writing is fast paced and love the chemistry between Grace and Logan.. They are certainly my favourite couple out of all the four couples

Off-Campus Book 2. Another fantastic read by Elle Kennedy though I must admit ‘The Deal’ still remains my favorite. A perfect breather when you just want to take it easy. Synopsis: John Logan is a handsome, sexy and popular hockey player on campus. He can get any girl he wants and he knows how to party. However there is one issue - he has a huge crush on his best friend’s girlfriend. He is ashamed and frustrated and hence to divert himself he has ‘fling’ with well..anyone and everyone he can that is until he meets Grace. And then the fun begins. Grace is smart, cute, shy and has a tendency to blabber when she is nervous. She is thrilled to be with Logan and soon develops feelings for him. However Logan is confused as he still believes he harbours feelings for someone else. But once he realizes he has messed up big time he decides to woo Grace back and that was the best part of the book... well apart from those hilarious laugh-out-loud moments which I must say is Elle’s specialty. Being a big romance fan, let me tell you there is absolutely nothing better than a hot romantic guy pursuing his girlfriend. And boy o boy Logan does not disappoint! He is ready to do anything and everything to win Grace back and it was fun to read! Although “The Deal” would still be my fav. Logan’s humor and impromptu and hilarious abbreviations made me laugh so hard that my tummy hurt. Steamy, crazy and hilarious read. I loved it.

okay, i think i might have a soft spot for john logan now. after reading *the deal*, i was excited for his book, but i honestly did not expect to love him this much. logan and grace were so adorable together, and i spent a huge part of this book smiling because of them. and grace? i loved her. the fact that she actually made logan work for his second chance was so satisfying to read. the list of things he had to do before she would even consider going out with him again was one of my favorite parts of the book. she knew exactly what she wanted, and i was fully on her side the entire time. i loved that beneath the hockey player image and playboy reputation, logan is actually a genuinely sweet character. once he realizes he made a mistake, he puts in the effort to make things right, and watching that growth made his story even more enjoyable. their chemistry was great, but it was the smaller moments that really sold me on their relationship. the teasing, the flirting, and the way they made each other laugh felt natural and effortless. i also enjoyed getting to know logan on a deeper level. he was fun in the first book, but this story shows a more vulnerable side of him and made me appreciate his character so much more. this series is becoming dangerously addictive because every time i finish one book, i immediately want to start the next.

Loved it from the start till the end

I think I want to give this 4.5 stars 🌠 When I started this book, I didn't think I was going to like this as much as the first one which is true because Garrett and Hannah are still my favourites. But, I also didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did. I was emotionally invested in the couple. At the beginning, Logan was pretty messed up and confused so he did make some mistakes. But, that didn't make me dislike him. I got him - I didn't like what he did but I understood his side. I also liked that he came clean to Grace pretty quickly even though he did end up hurting her feelings (which I guess was inevitable) In a way, I was glad he opened his eyes finally and realised the error of his thinking. I liked that Grace made him grovel before taking him back. I liked Grace. I loved her quiet strength. Everytime she was pushed down, she would cry her heart out and then get up move forward (eg, with rumours, mean girls, best friend, Logan) I liked them together. All the team/friends moments were fun and hilarious. I love the bromance! Also, that moment with Dean, Hannah and Logan when they go for run was cute 💜 I can't wait for Dean and Allie's book!

"I don’t know why I bother trying to talk to guys. I go into every conversation nervous I’m going to embarrass myself, and then I end up embarrassing myself because I’m nervous. Doomed from the start." I'm going to start by saying that I'm absolutely fixated on this series. I know there are some people who think that Grace & Logan were boring but I personally don't agree with it. They were so much fun together (especially Logan's grand gesture at 93%). When I read The Deal, I wanted to figure out what was up with Logan. He thought he had a thing for Hannah but he was just infatuated with the idea of love. “So you have a talent for reading people, huh? Can you read me?” I smile. “I haven’t quite figured you out yet.” His husky laughter warms my cheek. “I haven’t quite figured me out yet either.” After reading the series, I've come to a realisation that we get to know more about a character solely from his/her point of view. Their friends sure know about them on the outside but they don't know what goes on inside their mind and that was the case with both Garrett & Logan. In Garrett's book, Logan seemed to be the put together and professional bestfriend but in this book, we get to know that Logan's life is not as easy as it seems. Logan was a great guy. Sure, he made mistakes and wrong choices but that's what makes him real to me. He was such an easy, carefree, funny and thoughtful guy. He wasn't selfish and was ready to sacrifice his hockey career for his family but I'm glad that things worked out for him in the end. "That’s right. I said it. List. The little brat texted me not one, not two, but six tasks to complete before she agrees to a date. Or maybe gestures is a better way to phrase it." Grace was a college freshman who wanted to lose her virginity but she gets all nervous and blabbers nonstop when it comes to talking with the boys. Honestly that's what made her so relatable to me because it happens in my case too. So, when John Logan- the gorgeous hockey player accidentally stumbles into her dorm room, she is extremely nervous but they are instantly attracted towards each other and that's where their story starts. Eventually, like the typical college boy he is, Logan makes a mistake and pushes Grace away. But, I was glad that Logan didn't wallow in self pity and immediately got his act together once he realised that he'd been wrong. And Grace made him grovell a lot. I liked her for not letting him slip away with his mistake so easily. Grace didn't stand out to me as much as Hannah did but I liked her. She was cool, supportive, knew her self-worth and didn't let anyone's opinion get to her. I feel like I know more about Logan than Grace because all we knew about her was that her parents are happily divorced, she likes action movies and grew up in Hampshire, that's it. “You’re the last person I think about before I go to sleep, and the first person I think about when I open my eyes in the morning. You’re it for me, baby.” Though, Garrett is still my top favourite in the series, Logan and Tucker come close. I really felt bad for Logan because him and his brother had lots of responsibilities and had to take care of it themselves when they were supposed to live their lives. Another thing I love about Elle Kennedy's books is the text message exchange between the characters. They are so hilarious and entertaining and the bromance between Garret, Logan , Dean and Tucker. The epilogue of this book satisfied me and I loved that Garrett and Logan got the chance to fulfill their common dream. I am so excited to see where these characters are now in The Legacy and I can't wait!

John Logan, Garrett’s best friend from The Deal, starts off the story dreading his final year in college. His dream to play in the NHL never to be realized, as he’s going to stay home and take care of his alcoholic father and the family business, and he's crushing on his best friend's gal, Hannah (the heroine from The Deal). So he drowns his sorrows in booze and women, not necessarily in that order. Then he meets Grace Ivers, shy freshman. He hooks up with her but manages to screw it up. Thankfully, he’s not a quitter, and yes, romance happens. The Good, The Bad and Everything In Between -Elle Kennedy really has a knack for the sexy-funny: Truly, my favorite type of love story is the sexy and funny, and Ms. Kennedy’s brilliant at it. The ‘verse she’s created at Briar University is fun to visit and I’m intrigued with all the characters, not just the leads in each story. -Logan and Grace bring the heat: The sex scenes start slowly, and build well. There’s no lack of fooling around, so I was surprised when I realized that they didn’t make love until late in the book. I enjoyed that it isn’t perfect from the beginning, but really gets better as they get to know each other, much like a real relationship. Also, I’m not gonna lie - give me a hero who loves his oral, and I’ll show you a keeper. Logan’s love of the downtown was fantastic, and I liked that he was kind and gentle with Grace, never pressuring her to do anything she didn’t want to do. -Logan gives good grovel...and he has to: He screws up, more than once, because while I love him, he’s a bit of a butthead. But it’s the test of a man who gets back up when he falls down, and Logan does. The scenes where he works hard at getting back into Grace’s good...um, graces :), are funny and lead to some of the best moments in the book. Even when he screws up, I didn’t hate it, mostly just felt like nudging the knucklehead and setting him straight. It’s an excellent balance to the serious moments, like... -A bit of serious mixed in with the lighthearted: Logan is the child of an alcoholic and I think this fairly serious issue is handled well. It gives a poignant twist to a generally lighthearted tale. It’s so believable when he’s torn between living the life he’s always dreamed of, and taking care of his father. It gives an unexpected depth to Logan’s character that I enjoyed. I think it’s resolved fairly quickly, but I didn’t mind. -Grace is great: I’ve always enjoy seeing heroines who stand up for themselves, who can go toe to toe with their men and think for themselves. This series has had Hannah and now Grace as excellent examples of how you do strong new adult romantic heroines. Grace doesn’t just roll over for the hot jock and I respected her for it. She’s endearingly awkward, babbles when she’s nervous, but underneath it all, she’s no pushover. She values herself and she’s empathetic to Logan when he needs it, stubborn when he doesn’t. Loved her. -Can’t wait for more: I’m convinced menage is in the future of this series (yeah, I’m looking at you Dean) and if it is? I. Can’t. Wait. Elle Kennedy knows her way around a menage *fans self*, so it should be massively sexy and entertaining. -The only reason it’s not a five star: So I shaved a shade off the top because of a couple things: Logan’s almost hookup and lingering crush on Hannah. I know, he didn’t, but I’m a jealous gal and I didn’t like that he even attempted it. Also, Logan and Grace are sweet but predictable. Doesn’t matter though, I still had fun reading this. The Bottom Line (4.75 stars) I really enjoyed this (slightly bitter but) mostly sweet, funny story, almost as much as I loved the Deal. If you’re in the mood for a good NA romance, look no further than Elle Kennedy’s Off-Campus series. I highly recommend it. **ARC provided for review**

absolutely adore everything about this series, the story, the characters, the laugh out loud humour, the emotion, Kennedy manages to intertwine it all so masterfully that it keeps me hanging on every single page and desperately wanting for more. I thought I had loved Garrett and Hannah, but that was nothing compared to how much I fell for both Logan and Grace. Their relationship was perfect, there was so much emotion, passion, humour, angst, friendship and love that it completely consumed me. Logan was totally flawed but he had a huge heart and loved deeply, not to mention an unshakable determination when it came to winning Grace's heart. I loved the fact that Grace wasn't a push over, she managed to stand up for herself and retain her dignity but wasn't bitchy or annoying like so many other heroines now days. She was an incredibly sweet character and was quick to forgive. I particularly enjoyed her penchant for babbling and her honesty. I must admit initially I was a little worried where the story would go when it began with Logan mooning over Hannah because frankly, those type of story lines usually piss me off no end Thankfully, Logan's "feelings" are resolved and understood quickly so it doesn't cause the reader any prolonged or undue angst, phew! Logan and Grace seemed like complete opposites but they were perfect for each other. They definitely endured their fair share of heartache, obstacles and mishaps along the way but the end was worth it all. This series just keeps getting better and with every book I fall a little more in love with ALL the characters involved. I am already salivating over Dean’s book next…… I cannot wait! If you haven't yet experienced the awesomeness that is the Off Campus Series I would recommend doing so immediately you will not be disappointed..... highly addicted.... but not disappointed!
