This gem got put to the test on our beach trip last week and it held up beautifully! The wind was not playing around our first couple of days there as you can see from the video. It was SO easy to set up and break down! Incredibly light and fit in its convenient carrying bag. Saved so much space in our car compared to our old heavy tent. These things alone made it worth every single penny! Watch the video about set up and pay attention to it and you should not have any issues. Be aware though, you can see the sunshine through it a little bit. It does not completely block the suns rays. It also can get a little warm if there is not a lot of breeze. These things were not a big deal to us. It offered us the shade we needed to cool down and nap on the beach. I highly recommend this sun shade👍👍

Easy to set up with two people. Took less than 5 minutes. Held up nicely with 15 mph wind gusts. Make sure to bring a shovel to fill the sandbags. We also put the bags down in a shallow hole to help with the wind. Wish I would have bought one sooner. Great product.

First day was a struggle with the wind and it falling a few times. Once we figured out to put more sand in the bags and to dig in the poles a bit it fought the wind like a champ for 5 days straight. Goes up easy, great shade, light weight, just wish it was a little taller. Saw other brands on the beach that couldnt compare. Overall well worth th money, also reccomend getting a dark color for better shade.

This is the biggest piece of JUNK on the planet. we bought this hoping to escape carrying a large heavy canopy. went to the beach with just this in hand..DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! if there is the slightest breeze it falls right ovwr and flaps in the wind like a kite! i dont care how far you stretch the material out, how much sand you put in the pockets, or how deep you get the poles. all the does is bend the weak poles with the wind kite that it is and the whole thing tumbles over

I bought this for a trip we were taking to the Gulf Coast. My wife isn't a sun worshiper like me, and has to be careful about sun exposure.The setup was as simple as the video demos made it look - took about 10 minutes to set up or take down. The "sandbags" built into the cover are genius - they really anchor it, even in pretty brisk wind. Also, everything also actually fits back in the bag when you're done!Speaking of which, there were a couple of days with sustained Gulf winds of 10+ mph with gusts that I'm sure hit 20 mph. We were concerned how it would hold up, but it did great - stretched & flapped a little due to the stretchy material, but that seems to be a feature to keep it from blowing away.After the first couple of days my wife declared it a "game changer" as she was able to stay out on the beach in comfortable shade no matter how long I wanted to stay out.(nb, don't forget to bring a bucket to scoop the sand with for the anchors - we used one from a Dollar Store kid's beach toy set)Bottom line: great product that performs as hoped for a good price.

We’ve had this for 4 years now (purchased in 2021). Here is my honest review. It does not provide quite enough shade and not UPF 50. The first week we used it in 2021 I noticed my baby did have some of a tan and almost a sunburn, so it does not give enough sun protection. We went to the beach today and my husband has a sunburn on his face and head. He did wear sunscreen and a hat, but took the hat off under the tent, so I know it did not protect us well enough. It’s not very strong when it’s windy. Pros: It is very easy to set up and take down and compact. I wish it came with some kind of a hammer for the stakes and a shovel for the sand.

Debated on which tent to get, this one is similar to a more expensive one just like it that had a lot more reviews. Buy this one! We used it for two windy days on the beach. The first day was double red flags and no swimming. Super windy, and the tent was amazing! We set it up slanted with the end of two of the poles not aligned (see picture). We filled the bags, pulled as much tension as possible, and buried them. We were able to keep the shade where we wanted it with the baby. The next day it was less windy and we set it up normal. My sister in law brought hers just like it and we set them up next to each other with the legs crossing. We had a really big group of people and out of all the tents/ umbrellas our group had, we by far had the biggest, lightest, easiest, and most compact shading mechanism. We highly recommend this product! The set up was so easy. Definitely one person can do it, even on windy days, but that first day we did use 4 people to set it up just because we had 4 people standing there and it was our first time messing with it.

I tend not to stay too long at the beach because of the hot Florida sun but that's changed thanks to this shelter. It arrived yesterday and we got to try it out today. I was expecting to have some issues because of the strong winds and initially the top was blowing all over and shaking the poles back and forth. The front lip of the canopy was acting like a mini sail so I rolled the edge up and used a couple of clamps to hold it tight and it worked like a dream. The whole shelter stayed rock steady and the wind just blew right through. Love the material because it's not only stretchy but the sand doesn't cling to it at all either which makes pack-up simple and effortless. Glad we got it.

I wish it was better, as this was going to be our fishing shade shelter. Couldn't use it for a minute.
