I keep visiting many clients and did't want my drive to get corrupted by virus in their PCs. This is ideal. One issue is that the write-protect switch, which is projecting a little above the casing, can slide into write-enable position accidentally while inserting the drive in the USB slot. I have trimmed the switch slide height the same level as the case to avoid this. Now I have to use a ball pen tip to slide the switch - which is ok for me. The actual product colour is very pale blue - not the dark blue as shown in the picture.

Data is safe
I purchased the 8gb drive 6 years ago and it is still working strong (no issues). Nothing can be deleted, not even McAfee can erase a single file once the write protect switch is on. It's bookable, great for a diagnostic tool. That's why I bought this one. More storage and more diagnostic tools.

Guter Stick für fremde PCs
Toller Stick, etwas pricy, aber der Switch beruhigt. Mit LOCK sollte kein Virus es schaffen auf den Stick zu wandern.

La seguridad de los datos ante todo
Hace años compre dos memorias USB con interruptor físico, las usamos hasta que se acabaron. Por nuestro trabajo en una universidad se requería de llevar proyectos, presentaciones, documentos, etc. a compañeros cuyas máquinas en ocasiones estaban infectadas. Yo cambié a Linux y eso me evitó los problemas, en su caso siguió usando Windows con los problemas que eso conlleva, con esta memoria de USB se acaban las preocupaciones.

I've always regarded Kanguru flash drives to be about the best you can get. Solid construction. Easy-to-thread lanyard pass-through. Have no reason to believe this drive will not last well over a decade, as other Kanguru products have for me. If you want a really trustworthy product, Kanguru is the way to go - a little more expensive but worth every penny for the peace of mind they bring. After all, what's the point of getting iffy drives to store valuable data on. Delivery was also on time. cjread02
