This looked ridiculously small when it arrived, but I've used it twice in the last week. It was handy for frosting a cake in a 9x13 pan (where the sides interfered with the larger format), and for making homemade ice cream sandwiches (using Deb Pearlman's great Smitten Kitchen recipe), also in a 9x13 pan.

Looks good, works well icing and smoothing ingredients. Very durable, dish washer safe and worth the money.

Just love the dependability, functionality and style of all the OXO products! This off set icing spatula is perfect for spreading anything. Cream cheese on a bagel, mayo on a tuna sandwich, buttering bread and jellying up a PB and J. My wife has small hands and loves how it fits her hands so well. Conversely, I have large hands and feel like it fits perfectly also. We use it so much that we ordered two in case one was in the dishwasher

I have never had an off-set spatula, and every time I frost cupcakes or a cake, I would think, "I really need a spatula to frost my cakes". Finally, while frosting some cupcakes, I wrote myself a note and ordered an off set spatula. It is one of those things you do for your self to make life easier. For under ten dollars, this was a wonderful purchase. Oxo has such a great name, and I have many of their products, I knew I could not go wrong. It is a very comfortable knife with a nonslip handle. The bent blade is perfect for putting the frosting on and then shaping the frosting to fit the cake or cupcakes. You can angle your movement without breaking your arm, and it is so much easier to use this off set spatula. Of course, there are other uses for this off set. You can slide the knife right under cookies to lift the cookies off without crumbles. Anything, really that you want to move from a pan to another surface. The knife/spatula is made of stainless steel and you can wash in the dishwasher, but I prefer to hand wash. This off set spatula is one of those pieces of equipment that makes a perfect gift. Many people, like me, never think to purchase one, and then once you have it, you wonder how you did without it. A gift someone usually does not buy for themselves. Very good for what it is designed for. Suggested use is for cup cakes. It was very comfortable for a 9×9 pan also. Comfortable in my hand and just the right amount of flexibility.

Verwende die Winkelpalette für das Bestreichen sowie Glasieren von Torten und Kuchen jeglicher Art und bin sehr zufrieden. Der Griff liegt gut in der Hand und ist auch sehr gut abgewinkelt, was insbesondere beim großflächigen Ver- und Bestreichen sehr hilfreich ist. Da wir auch mit unseren Messern in der Spülmaschine die Erfahrung gemacht haben, dass sie von Zeit zu Zeit Rost ansetzen, haben wir die Winkelpalette immer händisch gereinigt, was auch kein großes Problem darstellt, wenn man sie gleich nach der Verwendung abwäscht und nicht antrocknen lässt. Alles in allem ein sehr guter Küchenhelfer.

I use this spatula to ice the top of layer cake and patch up the sides. This creates an amazingly smooth finish, and the quality of this product is excellent.
