Solar Fountain, Floating Solar Powered Water Fountain Pump for Bird Bath, Garden, Pond, Pool, Outdoor (1W)

Works good in my birdbath and in the pool, but any thing that can block the pump will. Bird feathers, hair, grass and so on. I do love the way it can float around on water and stays going all day as long as the sun is out. Very light in weight. Easy to use and like the straws to keep the fountain off the sides. Very quiet.

This little fountain is so easy for my bird bath. Just put it in the water and let it goes. If there is sun, there is a fountain. It does stop working pretty fast on cloudy days or in the evening. But that is a small price to pay for never having to mess with batteries or power cords. It does it's job in attracting birds to your bird bath. I don't see a lot of birds in my bird bath because they have a lot of natural water sources. But the fountain has greatly attracted more birds.

This is a nice little product. An easy, inexpensive way to add some moving water and beauty to my garden and bird bath. People in the reviews say it only lasts a month, but that’s because they weren’t cleaning it. I clean mine every single day that it gets used. You have to clean out the leaves and dirt from the pump grate, otherwise it’ll build up inside the pump and eventually break it. Also need to change the water daily. Cons: it must have DIRECT sunlight to function completely. It still runs in indirect sunlight, but not nearly as well (intermittent). Also, it was spraying all the water too high and emptying the bird bath. I fixed it myself by modifying one of the nozzles to make the hole bigger

I had high hopes for this solar fountain, but unfortunately, it did not live up to its promises. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Eco-friendly Design: The idea of an eco-friendly, solar-powered fountain was very appealing, but in reality, this product only works intermittently. It claims to run automatically in 3 seconds when sunlight is sufficient, but I found it to be highly inconsistent. Even on sunny days, the fountain often failed to start, and when it did, the spray height was much lower than advertised, barely reaching 20-30cm instead of the promised 40-60cm. Sprayer for Different Water Styles: While it comes with 6 different nozzle heads, they don't make a significant difference. The water height remains unimpressive regardless of the nozzle used. Additionally, the "exclusive fixer" meant to keep the fountain in place is ineffective; the fountain moves around randomly in the birdbath, making it difficult to enjoy any serenity from the water's trickling sound. Advanced Technology: The water-shortage protection feature and filtration box sound great in theory but fail in practice. The fountain stops working frequently, even when fully submerged, and the filtration box gets clogged easily, requiring constant cleaning. Despite being made of PET laminated solar panel, the fountain struggled to work properly even in mild weather conditions, let alone harsh environments. Multiple Applications: The fountain is quite small, with a diameter of only 6.3 inches, and requires a minimum water depth of 1.2 inches. This limitation makes it unsuitable for larger ponds or pools. While it might be suitable for a small bird bath or a tiny pond, the frequent malfunctions and low water height make it more of a hassle than a helpful addition. Helpful Tips: Following the tips provided, such as not allowing the water to get too low and keeping the pump clean, did not solve the fountain's problems. Even with diligent maintenance, the fountain's performance remained disappointing. The fact that it does not store any energy means it stops working the moment the sun is obscured, making it unreliable. In conclusion, this solar fountain did not meet my expectations. It is unreliable, requires constant maintenance, and fails to deliver on its promises. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a consistent and enjoyable water feature for their garden or pond. Save your money and invest in a higher quality, more reliable option.

the pump worked as advertised, but the clear plastic tubes (straws) that take in the water break down in our Texas heat and so the pump worked only about 4 months. I cannot find new tubes/plastic straws to fit the product to replace them.

Works great and always get compliments on the fountain in our birdbaths. Birds love them too as the water is more natural since it is moving. The different fountain nozzles are fun to experiment with. In full sun, the fountains generally last a year before replacement is necessary.

Still kickin after 5 years. Easy to disassemble and clean. As the sun hits it the solar charge pump intermittantly activates. Normal. Thats how they work. But in my case the bowl ran dry once and the chirp smust have sounded like a crow in distress. Crows came to its aid. Very interesting.

Perfect size, multiple fountain heads, easy to assemble. It was put together in no time at all and started to work rite off the rip!

I bought two solar fountains from different suppliers in the same order. This one cost $45, the other $20. They are EXACTLY the same. I thought this one would be somehow different considering it was more than twice the cost, but it was not. Even the packaging was the same. Very disappointed in the price hike by this seller.

This little fountain spray works so well. We didn't expect such a good jet of water for a small solar unit. As mentioned in other posts, it does need full sun for the strong spray. On cloudy days it bubbles in spurts but still functions just fine. Good bang for your buck.
