This is honestly THE BEST pillow insert! I bought two different kinds of inserts, this euro throw pillow insert and another brand, and this one is WAY better. I wanted to get something more affordable (cheaper) for my other two pillows and boy was that a wrong decision! This euro pillow feels so much better and softer. Also it gives you the ability to karat chop it and it keeps it shape. (Brown pillow has the euro insert and the blue one has the other insert and it does not compare. Pro tip: size up the insert versus the pillow cover. I shoved this 26x26 into a 24x24 pillow and it filled it out perfectly and much thicker.

They are nice quality, soft but full.

If I could, I would've given it 6 stars. My euro size pillow is generously filled with fine small feathers which give it both softness and structure - just perfect. I know about the fine small feathers (definitely not waterfowl) becase I've seen couple of them poking through the pillow cover; just pushed them back. Of course, a good percale pillow cover would hold them in place, but you can't expect percale cover at this price. It is not a big problem, I just bought a percale pillowcase. If this pillow had a percale cover to begin with, I'd give it 10 stars. As it is, it deserves at least 6 stars. I know it will serve very well for many years to come. My first (unofficial) 6 stars rating.

I initially purchased inserts that were two inches larger than my pillows (I purchased 24" inserts for 22" pillows), as recommended. I found that they still were filled very scantly and flattened out immediately upon use. On my second purchase, I saw that the euro squares (26x26) were on sale for less than I'd paid for the 24" and decided to give those a try in my 22" pillows. It worked. My recommendation (unless you feel like opening up the pillow seam and adding some type of additional fill, which I initially did), would be to go up 4" from your pillow size. It certainly fills the pillow out in a much more flattering way and it provides a firmer pillow that stands up to use.
