Unbeatable Console for 4K gaming Xbox Series X + GamePass is the best value in gaming
To put it simply, Xbox Series X is the best thing to happen to the gaming community in a long time. Microsoft is back in full swing and brings the best hardware you can find for Sub-50K INR this generation. Detailed review below: Hardware: The hardware is very refined, and whisper quiet while also being the most powerful gaming console, The fan is inaudible even when playing games for a few hours nonstop, The black monolith design blends well with my entertainment cabinet. Graphics: One of the things I love about the Series X is how good the games play and look, and on many occasions the enhancements on older gen games are simply amazing with most games having up to native 4K support and some next gen games also support 4K/120 with a HDMI 2.1 if your TV supports it. Storage: On the Series X you get 1 TB of blazing fast internal SSD storage, out of which about 802 GB is usable. Plenty for a good number of games (Average games size ranges from 40-90 GB for most new games). You can also attach any USB hard drive you already have to store and play last gen games from, so storage space won't an issue for most. Another thing that must be mentioned is 'Quick Resume' feature because of the SSD, that lets you swap between games in about 10-15 seconds as opposed to couple of minutes on the older consoles, this makes it feel like a true next gen experience. Gamepass Ultimate: The thing that keeps me coming back to my Xbox however is 'GamePass' and the sheer number of games that I can freely play and experience without having to spend thousands of rupees, It has essentially changed my gaming habits and opened up many new genres in games which I had previously not explored due to time/financial constraints. If you have a PC then you can also play GamePass titles on it with the same subscription. If you are new to Xbox then you can basically get 3 years (Max 36 Months) of Xbox Live gold for around 6K then upgrade to GPU for free, as mentioned by some fellow reviewers in detail. Verdict and options: All of my friends and family members who had the chance to play on my Series X have lauded its lightning fast speed and simplicity, and for someone who is not a hardcore gamer or play games on a monitor/1080p TV, it is better to go for a Xbox Series S at lower price with and get essentially the same experience. But if you have a 4K TV (even better if it supports HDMI 2.1) do yourself a favor and go for the Series X, you will be surprised with how far we have come with graphics and speed on home gaming console. To conclude this looong review, I would like to thank team Xbox as well as Amazon.in and everyone who has worked hard to bring the Series consoles to India, and I look forward to the many great experiences and games that I gladly await to experience on my Series X over the years!

One year review
Got my Series X last year (2024). Was planning on getting a series S but went for the series X because it was readily available and there was a republic day discount. This is my first console. This black beast still provides A-class gaming to this day. Every game runs as smooth as makhan. The quick resume feature lets me restart from where I left off without the need of moving back to a save location in-game. The original controller works perfectly. I got an additional PowerA controller which also works fine for co-op play. Gamepass has introduced me to a whole variety of games over the past year. Bought few games for ridiculously low prices during Xbox holiday\special sales. I've recommended the console to all friends and relatives who are gaming enthusiasts. My sister and her husband got a Series X a few months ago. She lives abroad and Xbox has been a crucial part of us connecting over weekends playing co-op and online games. With all the new games coming to Xbox in 2025, I'm hoping for a genuinely awesome gaming year ahead. Adding a few tips from experience. The console heats up a little bit, which is understandable since it is rendering high end graphics. Just make sure there's enough ventilation (I place my console horizontally). Ensure you have a UPS or inverter back-up. Just like a PC, there is no internal battery back up for safe shutdown during power outages. Although not required for all games, some games (MSFS 2024 for example) are heavily dependent on internet bandwidth. So make sure you have a stable and fast internet connection when playing online (min 50 MBPS). I personally don't use the batteries in my controller since they feel a bit heavy. Wired connection works just fine. Make sure you get a USB-C-type cable that is at least 10 feet long. The subscription charge for gamespass has gone up considerably last year. I usually buy bulk subscriptions off THE GAMEKEYS store for discounts. The 3-6 month subscription is somewhat reasonably priced.

Best Deal in Gaming
A year worth of research, three months worth of patient stock monitor and a week of anticipation preceded me getting this Console. But three days of gaming was enough to be worth every single second of it. Xbox Series X, along with game pass ultimates are products designed and priced to penetrate a market that it had been bullied out of and anyone who manages to get their hands on them are getting a product that is so undervalued that you ponder the moral implications of obtaining one. Pros: 1. Gamepass: You can obtain Gamepass Ultimate for Rs. 59 a month for three months and Rs. 824 per month following that. That is insane value, considering all first party games are released directly to Gamepass. There are going to be some stormers in there too, the likes of Elder Scrolls VI, Starfield and Halo infinite. They have even managed some huge third party games to release on to Gamepass including one which is released by their main competition. It's guaranteed to get better too. Must have. Also helps greatly reduce the number of games you end up purchasing, which shall add up during the course of the generation. 2. VRR : This isn't talked about enough, but VRR virtually guarantees that for supported TV's, XBOX is going to provide a smoother gameplay experience compared to its main Rival. 3. Games: It's Arch Nemesis has rightly lorded the lack of first party games over it the last console generation, that is guaranteed to be fixed this generation. There are some truly outstanding, critically acclaimed games I have played on its last gen rival, but I would trade it all if all I could play was Skyrim and Fallout for the rest of my life. It hasn't yet but it will certainly get much much better very soon. 4. Backwards Compatibility: Games are work of Art, yet they are often not treated with the care movies, books or paintings are. Xbox has taken a vow to preserve them and 99.5% of games ever released by Xbox are playable obln the Series X. Play Grim Fandango Remastered ( on game pass as it is produced by an Xbox first party studio Double Fine) or Halo 2, originally released in 1999 and 2003, and you shall understand why game preservation is so important. Cons : 1. Battery : Stock up on AA batteries, you wiil be needing them if you plan to game wirelessly. One lasts around 40 hours. 2. No need to purchase one of you have a capable PC. Maybe put off this purchase till that one is outdated. Xbox ultimate is also available on PC.

Awesome gaming console, go for it
I have been waiting for PS5, but it seems it would not be available soon. Purchasing XBox comes out to be better choice than PS5 as with ultimate game pass subscription one gets access to more than 100 games. This subscription based model of playing game is not available on PS5. Never used PS5 so canโt do the comparison but when it comes to my experience with XBox series X - it is awesome. Performance is very good, there is almost no loading time for games, quick play letโs you quickly resume your games. There could be some learning required, if you wish to use multiple profiles for kids and yourself, once you learn it then it is very good. It should not be a problem. I have bought it from Electronics Baazar seller, packing was good, it was recently manufactured and imported. I have set it up with 4K Tv, it works great, very good graphics and game play experience. I have purchased additional controller as well paired it with XBox, it also works great. Bottom line - if you are looking for a best gaming console, go for it without any doubt.

Stay away from Seller : Infinity games - Selling repackaged used products
Update: I submitted a complaint ticket on: consumerhelpline.gov.in After 7 days (Nov 1 2023), Amazon initiated the return process, collected the product, and issued a refund. However, I am still pursuing the ticket because it is evidently a case of deception. The fact that I received a used item with a partial warranty, and my request for a replacement was denied, clearly indicates fraudulent activity. It is concerning that I was provided with a compromised product for a mere discount of 750 INR. The real problem: I purchased an Xbox Series X from Amazon.in on October 14, 2023, taking advantage of a special SBI debit card offer that granted me a discount of 750 rupees. I had anticipated receiving a brand new item, and it was delivered on October 16, 2023. However, upon opening the package on the same day, I discovered that the box had been previously repackaged. Subsequently, I attempted to register the serial number of the item on the Xbox website, only to find that it had already exceeded the 5-month warranty period. The original purchase promised a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase. When I attempted to initiate a return for the item on Amazon, I encountered difficulties in filing a return request. Amazon directed me to their customer support for assistance. I proceeded to raise a request with their support, and they informed me that an investigation was necessary. They assured me that they would provide a resolution by October 21, 2023. However, as I did not receive any further communication, I reached out to their support once more to inquire about the status of the return or the possibility of a replacement. During this call, there were frequent disconnections, but I eventually reestablished contact with a support representative. This representative offered a refund, although I specifically requested a replacement. Unfortunately, the call was prematurely terminated. Subsequently, I reconnected with their support and was informed by another investigation team that they could not facilitate a product replacement or warranty. I was advised to contact the manufacturer for any warranty-related issues. The warranty registration clearly indicates that the product was registered for warranty on May 9, 2023, with only 6.5 months of warranty remaining. However, if the seller promised a 12-month warranty, it is disconcerting to discover that the product only has 6.5 months of warranty left. As a customer purchasing a new product, I naturally expected a full 12-month warranty. Now, I have suspicions that the product may have been previously used by someone who registered the product's warranty on May 9, 2023, and subsequently sold it during the Big Billion Sale. The item was then delivered to me. I reached out to Amazon customer care, expressing my dissatisfaction with the product and my desire to no longer use it. Unfortunately, instead of addressing my concerns, the support representative abruptly disconnected the call without providing any resolution. Furthermore, they mentioned a 5-day return period. Notably, I made my first replacement request on October 17, and my last request on October 21, which is within the 5-day timeframe. Thus, I find myself in a helpless situation. Upon reviewing the comments section, I discovered that multiple individuals have experienced similar issues. I am determined to put an end to this unfavorable practice. I am requesting either a new product with a 12-month warranty or a full refund. Additionally, I have observed that the product is marked for sale in the USA and Canada. This has raised concerns about whether the item was procured through legitimate and proper channels.

A PS5 user's Dilemma.
Thank you miners you made me buy a Series X. The PS5 Is all great with exclusives but without a gaming PC to build, XBX is the only way to leverage Gamepass. Don't get me wrong, I already own a One X and it's a great device with support for Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, HDMI IN and Google-Alexa integration. The PS5 although next gen is yet to catch up on these Super features. Even the PS UI is miles behind Xbox. Browsing the MS store with titles dating from the X360 era is gold. But....But... BUT... the one X can't do 4k60. A PC can but it's a stock apocalypse. It's 5 months and the 3080 is now a distant dream for me. It was time to wake - up. March 11 opens up pre-order stocks with 15th for DELIVERY day. Thank you Amazon you rock. All thing said, with the Series X purchase, I am on cloud nine. The Monday unboxing left me speechless with a sick leave. The black XSX was so..... small my wife couldn't tell if it was a sub-woofer or a air purifier. The initial setup using the mobile app was breeze . All my One X accounts, games, settings cloned in less than an hour. Quick resume is a God send after Ps5's betrayal with half baked features at release. While I still prefer Sony's cherry picked 60 fps updates to titles like GOW and GoTushimsa, FPS boost and auto HDR on XSX are basically free updates for so many titles. The external hot swap storage is also amazing. The new share button adds a third eye to capture, but I still prefer the dual sense(haptic everything.... ) . Last but not the least, the IR receiver is now built into the controller pairing button. I hope my LG remote can now be used with the XSX. Now the only sad part is removal of HDMI IN(no more firestick from Xbox) and 3D support(my Bluray library including Ready player one and Doctor strange will be biting dust soon) . Thanks for reading everyone. Hope you found my review helpful.

Torn Packaging but Series X is awesome
The packaging was a bit damaged and there was a tear on the original xbox packaging. Otherwise Xbox series x is incredible! Works like a charm and so smooth. Played Forza and Gears of War and had a wonderful experience. As I also own a ps4 pro, I wanted to compare them but honestly, there is no comparison. Of course, it's only real competitor is the Ps5 and while I have no doubt that it will be just as good, I decided to go with the X Box this time around because of the sheer value provided by the Gamepass. I spent around 7k and got 3 years of Gamepass ultimate(You can gift 6 month xbox gold for around 1237 with taxes. Just gift it to your own email ID 6 times and convert it to Gamepass ultimate by buying the first month of ultimate for 50 Rs. This only works if you have never had ultimate activated on your account before, though. Also you cannot stack more than 36 month of xbox gold for conversion). The setup process is pretty straightforward, and a word of advice: Use your Xbox mobile app for the setup as it makes the process much easier. The User interface is similar to last gen, which didnt really make a lot of difference for me as this is my first Xbox. Another reason I went with Xbox this generation is because games on the Xbox will be slightly cheaper than their Ps5 counterparts. Not by much, though. The controller is great too! I have always been a fan of ps4 style controllers and their left stick alignment but this controller felt just as good in my hands. It's pretty similar to the last gen controller with slight refinements and not exactly a generational leap like the dualsense controllers are supposed to be. But they are still pretty darn good. Another thing I noticed is that the console makes no noise even while playing games like Forza or Gears of War! Compared to last generation consoles' tendency to transform into jet planes while playing some of the more demanding games, this one is refreshingly quiet. All in all, an excellent console!

Best console of all time, Really!
The best console of all times.. Amazing features like quick resume and smart Delivery will get you hooked to the xbox, after using such features you will never want to go to any other console. Graphics are topnotch. Load time is super fast thanks to ssd. Looks very stylish. But the most important thing is Gamepass, i got 3 years of gamepass ultimate under 7K, now i am set till Oct 2024. Must play game are MFS2020, Gears 5, psychonauts 2, Left4dead, Hellblade and upcoming games like Forza Horizon 5, GTA SA definitive edition and It takes two. My only issue was that amazon did not provide any external protective cardboard or bubble wrap, i got the xbox with amazon plastic cover no extra protection, there was lot of wear and tear on the original xbox box, for 50K product you would expect Amazon to be little thoughtful but thanks to xbox for providing good packaging inside the original box. Also, I read some 1star reviews by people who were also advertising PS5 here. People who prefer PS5 over Xbox plz dont bomb Xbox reviews it looks very pitiful of you to do so, you only expose yourself as fanboy by doing such cheap things. Both consoles are good its personal preference, you simply buy what you like.
