London - late 1880s. Alex - successful MBA, skeptical and materialistic executive, sees himself as a woman in a previous life. And, she's about to have a miscarriage. This out-of-body experience, or regression, totally changes Alex's present life. He recovers from a serious auto immune disease and forsakes the rat race of the business world to bring relief to others. And, through his treatment of clients he has reawakened and guided over 600 people through regressions to their previous lives. This book recounts, with incredible detail, the adventures of his clients' previous lives. Readers learn about hypnosis techniques and other phenomena like dรฉjร vu. Fear not, the book is not overly technical. The author debunks myths about hypnosis, explaining why his controlled techniques produce empirical results, notwithstanding the lack of acceptance by traditional medicine. Have you ever met someone or entered a place for the first time, but, feel like you once knew them or where there before? Mr. Raco's clients expose how childhood memories and previous lives contribute to our present consciousness โ our very souls. It goes beyond our brains, before our present beings, and after our deaths. The book describes Mr. Raco's initial heavy skepticism of regression therapy. But it describes the real experiences of many clients. Their regression experiences demonstrate how present problems can be solved or reduced by reworking traumatic memories โ in this and in previous lifetimes. A book in which topics such as parenting, soulmates, emotional dependency and the love for animals become alive through the lives of soldiers, monks, thieves, singers, slaves, dwarfs, ancient Romans, medieval peasants and warriors. It is a statistical and empirical investigation from a professional who is able to maintain, in spite of everything, a detached and neutral perspective. A great instrument for the psychological well-being and personal growth of all of us. A book that will change your life. Review: A real page turner - I really enjoyed the regressions the author chose to put in this book. The cases were quite interesting and each had a specific message about life for us all. If you believe in past lives, or even if you just wonder, I highly recommend this book. Review: A Wonderful Book - I loved this little book as I never tire reading about reincarnation and past life regressions. It renews my belief that our souls are eternal and that our role in each physical lifetime is to learn love and compassion for ourselves and others. I have read many of the books by Brian Weiss, and identify closely with his teachings.

Good
I love reading about past life regressions, I got started on it through Brian Weiss (whom he quotes). Iโm not sure if itโs because this book may have been translated originally from another language prior to English, but his accounts seem a bit disingenuous nor does he follow through with the characters, just accounts one regression experience for each patient. Although all together it is a nice story, he talks about other things Brian Weiss hadnโt talked about. Quick and easy read, overall I enjoyed it .

Past life regressions
Absolutely loved this book!!! I didnโt want to put it down until I completed it! I have read and loved all of Brian Weissโ books. Loved how Alex Racoโs clear explanations were both spiritual and scientific.

How one can do regression therapy on self and how to control a therapy in case it gets too dramatic without a facilitator?
I liked learning about various regression therapies. However it seemed a bit bizarre when I read someone was an animal (bear) in a previous life. Too crazy to think a human soul could have been an animal.

Love this book!
It was awesome! I loved it! I don't normally read books more than once but I'm considering reading this one again. Maybe even a 3rd time :) I would totally recommend this book to a friend.

Like the author
Past lives!! Who knew?? Mr. Raco's book was an eye opener for some one who has long heard (and said) "In a past life!" It appears that there is more science to it. Like the author, I have a healthy skepticism about things like this. But, Mr. Raco provides numerous case examples of clients he has worked with to bring back their prior lives, usually enabling them to live better present lives. This book is my introduction to Past Life Regressions. Fortunately, it is well written and easy for a lay person to understand.

Riveting case histories, unputdownable!
Have read lots about past life regression and also life between lives and although this is mostly case history it has a sensible approach which also explains the neurophysiology of hypnosis in very to understand but not patronising terms and this also, I think, might help readers discern what is a genuine regression experience versus mental artefacts which they may have self-constructed. An absolutely riveting read.

Interesting Nd informative
The author is a very talented man whose compassion and love come through in the way he writes of the experiences of his clients in past life regressions. I have read all of Brian Weiss's books and recommend this as a worthy addition to the understanding of this fascinating subject
