Q: what is the accuracy of this product?

Always clean the inside and outside of your windows prior to testing the VLT with any tint meter. The Laser Labs Tint Meter Enforcer II TM1000 has an accuracy of plus or minus 2% and is not affected by humidity. It can read from 0% VLT to 100% VLT. Its range of operational temperatures is 0 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It is not affected by ambient light. It comes with two different tinted test samples so that you can verify the accuracy of the tint meter.

Q: Can this be calibrated daily for use by law enforcement

Yes . It comes with test glass.

Q: How deep the window glass goes inside the unit?

The Slot for measurement is 2 inches deep - if you want to measure a window in the middle (like a WIndshield or if only part of the glass is tinted etc) we recommend the Inspector II 2-piece tint meter thanks! Laser Labs, inc
