Sturdy excellent quality
I love how it can be extended to be very long, so that I can use it as a 'staff', pushing it in order to hold up my chest to support my back, my spinal alignment. Allowing my back to relax. AND, when I want to make a professional sharp photo, use it similarly to a tripod, and can attach the camer to the screw under the knob on top.

Four Stars
Easy to use and very sturdy but is quite heavy when carrying it around all day.

Tall and Solid, more Photo than Trek
I have some other monopods (Manfrotto) but this thing feels more solid while shorter. Could probably self-defend with it against humans and animals. It is true that the compass is cheap and won't be much helpful if you are a real trekker. I like the smooth ball head, and the fact that your camera is at a better height (I'm 6'). I have a Komperdell which is a real trekker stick (much lighter) with a removable head but it is not as tall for comfortable photography. This monopod is probably more photo than trek given its size and weight and I will try it out as soon as spring is here. I am also curious to see how the locking system will take the effort and load.

Happy with the purchase
really good built quality... no problem at all.... I use it on my Nikon full frame DSLRs with 70-200mm f/2.8
O**.
I like it
Nice and small and light when I need it to be and plenty tall enough for any likely use.
