Question 1

What are the dimensions of the lunchbox part?  Will my preschoolers' lunches fit in them?  Also, is it insulated?

Accepted Answer

The separate lunch box that matches the backpack fits perfectly in the backpack. My son goes to preschool and in the front pocket of the backpack is a spare set of clothes and in the main compartment of the backpack is room enough for the lunch box and full size folder and a little room to spare as well. The lunch box is insulated and keeps his food cold and there is even a little mesh pocket on the inside of the lunch box for napkin, etc. I usually fit 2 ice packs, yogurt drink, juice box, snacks and pudding, etc in there. It's a pretty decent size. There is also a little Velcro strap inside the lunchbox to hold something in place. On the outside of the front flap there is zipper pocket on the lunch box too. Rough measurements are 10 inches wide 8 inches tall, 3 1/2 inches deep.

Is this big enough to hold 8.5 x 11 papers or a folder?

Will a Bentgo lunch box fit in the front compartment?

Hi Betsy - thank you for reaching out!  The front compartment of our 12 Inch Backpack measures 9 x 8.5 x 2 inches.  The Bentgo Lunch Box measures 8.5 x 6.5 x 2 inches.  Based on measurements alone it would seem like it would fit, but I would be worried it would be extremely tight. Will a notebook or composition book fit in this bag? Plz help

Yes! I put a composition notebook in it and it's got room. You will be surprised on how much you can fit in this backpack! It's great. I use it as a diaper bag and have diapers, wipes, extra outfit for my 3.5 year old and my 12 month old plus tons of snacks and my wallet. :)
