Good Stuff
I live in an area where municipal water comes from mountain springs, so our water is hard. This soap lathers well in hard water. I've even used it to shave with a razor a couple of times, and it was fine. It cleans well and seems to last a long time. Recommended.

Love the soap!
Talk about a gentle cleanser! It really is for sensitive skin…and I guess it’s priced only slightly higher than other brand name soaps. But, no kidding, soap up just a few times in the shower and you’re down to a sliver in no time. That’s my only gripe.

We make our own laundry detergent
We became aware of the harmful additives made to laundry detergent and decided to make our own. Did a quick search on Google (another thing we are trying to give up) and came across a great recipe to make our own. This soap is one of the necessary ingredients to do so. We have been making our own detergent for almost a year. Will never go back to store bought options. In all honesty, we don't know about the moisturizing or the sensitive skin benefits. Scent is almost non-existent.

The best hand and body soap I have ever used—for over 40 years! If you really prefer to leave nothing on your skin after washing this is the soap for you. None of the others I've used leave my skin sweeky clean and without some linkering perfume smell. Ivory soap approaches this quality and I use it if I can't get Kirk's. I use this soap for bath and for dishes. It cuts grease as well as the best dish soaps.
