I bought this for my 2015 Mini Cooper S. I had to cut it in half as the one inside the car was. After cutting it in half I may not have installed one of the halves correctly as the INTAKE arrow is only printed once. I’m sure it isn’t meant to be cut in half but that’s how the vehicle was designed.

Amazon says it doesn't fit the 2015 countryman but it does in fact. It's the same as any other filter made for this car.

This filter is a real bear to install correctly!! The housing has a molded track for the filter to slide up into that is curved. This filter is not flexible and does not push up into the track without jamming the filter in ways it does not want to go, and shouldn't go. The sides of the filter are ridged and should be flexible to properly fit into the housing. Thank-you for the refund offer however I am unable to respond to the offer as my email server will not allow a response. I will accept the offer. I have an added comment regarding the filter, if the sides of the filter were made of flexible material so it could be pushed into the curved track in the housing it would be fine.

I had no idea how to put this filter in, it came with instructions as to where it went , but not totally clear.it was so long i thought i must have ordered the wrong one. I utubed video instructions. Its a tight fit, however once in works great. Highly recommend!

Fast delivery great price fits perfectly. But doesn't tell you which way the airflow arrow is supposed to go? All it says is too look at the old filter arrow when removing...well, the old filter was so dirty that I didn't even pay attention to the arrow. Maybe they can put that warning at the beginning of the instructions and in bold writing?

As others have stated, this filter is not flexible to fit into the curved track of the Mini Cooper. I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered so I could have gone with another filter. :(

As others have stated, this filter has sides that are way to stiff. The factory filter has to flex to fit into the filter housing and this one does not bend at all. The sides have to be forcefully bent to fit into the housing and because of the stiffness, it won't follow the channel guides on the interior sides of the housing. This results in a filter that isn't correctly seated and will more than likely allow airflow around the sides. The only positives I can say about the filter are that it is the correct size dimensionally and the filter media seems like it would be good. If only the sides were more flexible to allow proper fitment, then it would be a decent filter.
