Vibrant colours and good quality
Gave as a gift to my niece. She loves rainbows and unicorns and fairies. Lovely adorable pictures with details. Good quality and precision tip paint brush attached to the book. Does not require a lot of water to show off the colour. Lovely gradient effect colours. Paper good quality and dress pretty fast after use, but make sure not to use too much water. Overall very pleased.

Recommend buying.
These are brilliant for younger children who usually make a mess when painting with paints. I bought a few different themes of these books. All you need is some water. Each book comes with its own paintbrush. It's mess free and they end up with beautiful colourful pictures. Would recommend.

REALLY, it’s not for toddlers
If you’re anything like me, you take age recommendations on toys with a pinch of salt (unless of course there are obvious hazards) - from experience it seems like most toys are labelled for older children if in doubt, due to fears of being sued. I have a toddler who likes to paint. Normal painting is obviously messy. So I thought this looked perfect. I did have a brief look at the water wow range, but they include pens, rather than brushes and my daughter particularly likes brushes. This was one of those occasions where I should have paid attention to the age recommendations. I should start by saying that the images are beautiful and for a more co-ordinated, older child, I’m sure much fun will be had and lovely art pieces will be created in using this book. I like the fact that each of the images can be torn out easily along perforated edges for display/drying. Though I will say that the pages are surprisingly thin for a watercolour painting book. Unfortunately masterpieces are unlikely with younger children. The water activates invisible water colour paint on the pages (quite clever really). There are different colours in the different shapes, meaning when you combine this with a toddler who likes to swill water around in manic circles, you get a lovely brown slop. No page divider intended to keep other pages dry stands a chance against that kind of brush action. The resulting effect has been a very quickly used book, with sopping wet thin pages, in brown. Although much fun was had, admittedly. But a very expensive form of messy play. If you have toddlers, perhaps wait until they’re older.

Magic Painting
Love these magic painting books. Bought one for my Mum who was suffering with Alzheimers and it was easy for her to do and gave her a sense of achievement. My great grandkids saw it, they loved magic paintbooks when they were younger so I bought them one also as the pictures are more grown up.

Appealing pictures.
This went down very well with the six year old I bought it for. She loved the pictures and there was very little mess for her mum!

Best magic painting book we’ve had.
Bought this to entertain a very active toddler and it’s absolutely great. Comes with a lovely paintbrush and the colours are super vibrant. You can tear out the pages which is a huge win for us as our 3 year old often wants a ‘fresh’ page and so doesn’t finish anything but has been able to focus on one at a time. Also for those saying it leaks through pages; it does, but there is a fold over cardboard page on the back page that you can use to protect the other pages while painting. Usborne is our go to for books of any sort, they are always well considered and put together, their sticker books are brilliant too!

The best for toddlers
These Usborne books are the best. My toddler loves them and spent a long (quiet) time painting them. It was wonderful

Malbuch
Schönes Malbuch mit vielen Motiven und durch die "Wassertechnik" irgendwie "magisch".

Great for an older toddler
The colour in these books can run together a little bit so for young toddler it can be frustrating but for an older one it’s enjoyable and great for fine motor skills to stay more ‘in the lines’.

Not just for kidss! High quality destressor!
As a grown adult, this is the most relaxing activity of all time. No thinking, just putting water to paper and watching it transform. You don't even have to think about picking a color, the ink in the lines does all the work. My daughter got one as a gift and she let me paint a page. I found it so mellow that I bought myself a book. The paintbrush is surprisingly good quality and there is a place on the cover to keep it. I also love that there is a back flap that you can fold under your painting while working to keep the water from bleeding through. The pages are also perforated so you can tear out if you wish. The colorful ink is very concentrated so you get great pops of color, enough so that you can touch up other areas with the pigment (like adding red blush to unicorn cheeks). There is also a wide variety of color; the classic ROYGBIV plus brown, light green and others. I love that there are like 20 different themed books for the Magic painting book series. HIGHLY recommend.
