Rit DyeMore Single Bottle 7 Oz. Synthetic Liquid Fiber Dye for Clothing, Décor, and Crafts – Apricot Orange

It dyed my shirt well! Very easy process, if you let it boil it has an unpleasant scent so just be sure to watch the temperature. It hasn’t lost color after 2 washes so far. (The shirt was polyester.)

So it looks dark purple in the water, don’t fret! I didn’t smell it whatsoever, maybe my nose is broke, but I had no issues using the product! Did make my fur a bit sticky afterwards and had to run it through another rinse after letting them dry the first time. Honestly I just used my hands to mix it into the water and it didn’t stain my hands or my tub so it was fine by me. Used for bunny feet for a upcoming Halloween costume and the color is exactly what I was going for, had to use the whole bottle though, but I won’t be dyeing fur any time soon again so I didn’t mind using the whole bottle. Works with HOT water, didn’t need to use boiling water for this project which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place! Very easy to mix, use, and dye with this product. VERY happy with my purchase. (I have two sets of feet one is the set I dyed and one I left the original white so you can see the difference in color.)

The dye itself is great and it was really easy to use. Especially as a beginner, one issue I did have was how potent it is, I wish they had a warmer toned black but it was fine, it just made the dye job cooler toned that expected. It’s a great addition to the rit dye, especially since I had a polyester spandex blend and it doesn’t hold with regular dye, love that they’ve expanded their reach on fabrics and that I still have so much left. The dye itself is great for buildup use and I love how deep the color is even on previously dyed clothes. It didn’t stink or have that odd dye smell either. Although after a couple of washes the dress was still lighter than expected so the color isn’t really durable and it doesn’t fully “stick”. That was my only issue really

Had difficulty dying a very faded red dress- finally figured out the spandex content was too high. Used the dye-more on the stovetop as directed and I kid you not: as I lowered the dress into the dye bath, the new color started to adhere! I stirred constantly as directed, and now have a completely uniformly-dyed royal purple dress. Greatest stuff ever! Please note: dress is still drying in photo- so waist is still wet so darker.

I ordered this to dye some slippers from off white to a light blue, but although I followed directions carefully, the slippers had very little color. I sent for a 2nd bottle and chose a different method to dye on the stove top with a saucepan, rather than in the washing machine. Same result basically a wishy washy palest blue not what I was expecting. Expensive to keep ordering, undesirable results.

I used this for a prop on a small to medium, polyester plush. I was worried it wouldn’t stick. I used the stove top method, with 2 gallons of water mixing for 30 minutes with some detergent. It looks great! I used the whole bottle. I didn’t want to waste the color so I also dyed a hoody & shirt. Those items were mixed fabrics but they picked up the color & didn’t fade after a wash cycle.

I used this to redye my car carpets. They came out amazing. Would give 5 stars although the dye is much darker than the bottle advertises.

ポリエステルなどの化学繊維を染めるには、鍋を使った「煮染め」が必須です。洗濯機では十分な温度（93℃以上）にならないため、コンロで加熱しながら染める必要があります。レビューで染まらなかった、もしくは村があったと書いている方は、おそらく正しい行程を踏んでいないものと思われます。公式の英語情報を元に、わかりやすくまとめました。ちなみに、”how to use Rit DyeMore for synthetic fibers"と調べると、公式ページがあります。言語設定が左上にあるので、そこから動画を確認することができるので、それも見てみるとイメージがつきやすいかもしれません。 --- 準備するもの ✅ Rit DyeMore（DyeMoreは化学繊維用。公式は、全体の35％以下が化学繊維の場合、もしくは大半が自然繊維の場合にはAll Purposeの方を使うことをお勧めしています。) ✅ 大きめの鍋（布がしっかり浸かるサイズ、私は30cm、内容量８Lのアルミ鍋を使いました） ✅ お湯（布450g＝約11Lが目安） ✅ 食器用洗剤（ムラ防止 ） ✅ トングや菜箸（布を混ぜるため） ✅ ゴム手袋（手の保護＆色移り防止） --- 染め方 ① 事前準備 - 布の重さを乾いている状態で量る。 - 染める前に布の汚れを落とす！ 温かいお湯＋洗剤で洗い、柔軟剤は使わない。 ② 鍋に水を入れ、93℃（沸騰直前）まで温める - 布1ポンド（約450g）につき約11Lの水を入れる。 私が染めたワンピースは280グラムだったので本来なら７Lのところ、おおよそ６Lほどの水を使いました。おすすめの水量より少なめでしたが大丈夫でした。 ③ 食器用洗剤を小さじ1杯入れる - 染めムラを防ぐために必須。 ④ Rit DyeMoreをよく振ってから鍋に入れ、混ぜる - 液体染料4オンス（約118mL）で、乾いた状態の布1ポンド（約450g）を染めることができます。 - ポリエステル100％の場合は推奨の2倍。私は乾いた服280g、水６Lにつき110mlほど混ぜました。 ⑤ 布を濡らしてから鍋に入れる - 乾いたまま入れると染まりにくいので、事前に水に濡らす。 ⑥ 弱火で温度をキープしながら、最初の10分間はしっかり混ぜる！ - 最初の10分が勝負！ ムラにならないように絶えず動かす。 ⑦ 30分～1時間煮る - ポリエステルやポリコットンは最低30分必須。 - ナイロンは染まりやすいので時間を短めに。 - 濡れている状態では濃く見えるが、乾くと薄くなるので注意！ ⑧ 鍋から取り出し、軽く絞って余分な染料を落とす ⑨ 温かいお湯ですすぐ → 徐々に冷水に切り替える - 最初は温かいお湯で流し、徐々に冷たくすると色が定着しやすい。 - 水が透明or薄くなるまでしっかりすすぐ。 ⑩ 洗濯機で洗う（温かいお湯＋中性洗剤推奨） - コットンやリネン混紡の場合は、Rit ColorStay Dye Fixative（色止め剤）を使用すると色持ちUP - 乾燥機は使わず、自然乾燥がベスト。 --- 成功させるコツ ✅ ポリエステルは高温（93℃）をキープするのが鍵 ✅ 最初の10分しっかり混ぜるとムラが防げる ✅ 温水→冷水の順にすすぐと色が定着しやすい

Fantastic results! Used it to dy 2mts of fringe (45% synthetic) from an old sofa I am re-doing. Original color was an aweful mustard-green mix. I utilises the entire bottle because I wanted it as dark as possible. Left it simmering for one hour, moved it every now and then with a pair of kitchen silicon tongs (the red turned greenish!). Uniform, beautiful color, the fringe can now be reused for another upholstery project rather than going into the bin. Wish there were more colours available, I would have liked a very dark green.

Dyed four small outdoor ottoman cushions made of 100% polyester. The cushions had faded from a vibrant red to a faded pink colour on the sides exposed to the sun. Submersed the cushions in the simmering water/dye for about an hour stirring frequently. Rinsed in the washing machine on cold water/spin cycle and put them into the dryer for a half hour. They didn't turn out to be the original red colour but are very close. Look great. Very impressed with this product.
