Question 1

Are they strong enough to roast 2 hotdogs, fully extended, without drooping?

Accepted Answer

I haven't tried it with 2 hot dogs, but I believe it would be strong enough.

Question 2

do these skewers have rotating handles?

Accepted Answer

Hi Ryan! Thanks for reaching out. This particular item of ours does not have the rotating axel feature but we are soon to launch another one of our excellent products that does! UPDATE: Our new Premium Rotating and Telescoping 34 Inch fork is now available here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B014OW7106

Question 3

are these dishwasher safe?

Accepted Answer

Thanks so much for your inquiry. Although the forks are made out of top of the line stainless steel and wood to prevent any rusting and to last many seasons and throughout the year, we believe it is best maintained by handwash with soap, sponge, and water. This is because there is glue involved in the handmade manufacturing process so undue amounts of heat and water could possibly cause the fork to come loose from the wooden handles. Thanks for your interest in our product. Also, check out our super long bamboo marshmallow roasting sticks which require no clean up at all: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B015XA39MC These forks are really the best product available when it comes to fireplace tools and accessories for the winter as well as fire pit accessories in the summer as well as campfire fun with kids. It really is a must have for anyone who enjoys campfire cooking, bonfire pit cooking, beach fire or lakeside cooking, fire pit cooking or really any type of cooking that involves fire! They are great as s'mores sticks with graham crackers and chocolate bars but are also great for shish kabobs, hot dogs, sausages, vegetables, and really anything you would want to put in a fire. Many also like purchasing mystical fire rainbow flame crystals for rainbow fire with the children. Really awesome marshmallow forks! Hope this helps!

Question 4

Are the prongs spaced wide enough for sausages? I hate it when my hot dog falls off

Accepted Answer
