Can another person listen to the tv while the head phones are being used

I purchased this device for my mother and had the same question. This is the response I got from the company: "Thank you for your inquiring! Normally TV's internal speaker won't be able to play sound when Bluetooth transmitter is attached to it as aduio output device, it's up to TV's own feature. This Bluetooth transmitter BTI-038 can pair with 2 Bluetooth devices at the same time, so you can pair it with another Bluetooth headphones or speakers so that two or more people can hear the TV sound as well." We did purchase a Bluetooth speaker to go with it but haven't had a chance to try them out yet.

Can you control the TV volume while listening through these headphones?

Dear Customer, thank you for your inquiring! If you connect this BTI-038 to TV via aux/rca cables, then you can control the TV volume on your headphones, BTI-038 and TV remote. If you connect it to TV via digital optical cable, then the TV volume is fixed and you can only control the volume on your headphones. In either way, the volume can be adjusted through headphones.
