I am already impressed by the Dredge mop. We use quite a few Norwex products but their mop system is about $30 per piece ( handle, mop head, mop pad) and entirely unreasonable. I am so happy to have found this company and mop. It's so easy and fast to whip out and use which is perfect for my house where only the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room need mopping. And a mom of three NEEDS quick, effortless cleaning help. We have laminate floors and mopping tends to leave dangerous to slip on puddles and pooling of water. Not so for this mop. The Dredge is durable and effective enough for my In-laws' home with large areas of wood floors that have grooves and texture that don't get thoroughly cleaned with wet Swiffer. My Father in law is in a wheelchair so the tires track around in so much dirt. The day after I'd mopped there, I could still tell the floors were clean! The mop pads stick via Velcro but they also have the notches on the opposite side if you want to use Swiffer type pads too. We don't. We prefer saving the environment and money with the washable durable pads that already come with the system. When I had questions or concerns with our mop, the company promptly responded and helped me out. Best customer service I've had in a long time. My two older kids like the novelty of a mop adjustable to their size too. My five year old this morning wanted to mop the kitchen and was declaring, "it is so good we have a mopping system."

GREAT SELLER I need to praise Temples Pride for their over the top response when I communicated a disappointment in the condition of the packaging when it arrived. I explained that I expected everything to work fine, and I did not request action on their part. Temples Pride quickly responded to express their disappointment in amazon’s fulfillment, and that they were sending a new unit by one day shipping. And they did not ask me to return the first unit. The new unit arrived as promised the next day. Negligence by amazon’s fulfillment department leaves sellers to address customer complaints in their own ways, revealing very different company cultures. Some avoid resolution and others bend over backwards to ensure that customers feel safe with their purchase decisions. Buyers, if you want a responsive and incredibly considerate seller, here you are: Temples Pride. THE MOP SYSTEM I have been using this mop system for a few weeks now, and I am very happy with my purchase. All of the claims on the package are true. I have skinny weak wrists that become exhausted when I put force into house work. The overall light weight and option to allow easy pivot of the mop head makes every phase of floor cleaning easy. I appreciate that I can shorten the handle so I can more easily apply higher angle force during wet mopping. In length adjustment, the twist-tightening and -untightening of the pole is easy and it does not loosen during work. A couple times, the head loosened from the pole due to poor tightening on my part. Once the head is properly tightened to the pole, the problem does not return. The tool feels very sturdy and definitely grabs dry dirt until I am ready to shake it loose. I can effectively dust at least half the house without shaking the mop. Wet mopping is very good as well. I can see why Temples Pride addresses customer issues in such a positive way — Their product is something they can proudly stand behind. Thank you.

The Dredge microfiber mop is the best, most efficient mop I have ever owned! We live in an 1,100 square foot SW Florida condo, with the exception of two bathrooms and the kitchen all the floors are wood laminate. I was going through three “Giant Swiffer” sheets a day and the floors still looked dull. When the Dredge arrived, I took it out of the box, screwed on the handle, adjusted the length and placed it on the “Fringe Pad” and was mopping in five minutes. The handle is sturdy enough to lean on a little to get up spots but still incredibly light. The pad slid across the floor as if it were floating and left shiny floor behind! I mopped the whole house in fewer than 20 minutes and was pleased with how it looked. The following morning, I used the softest pad and polished the floors, they looked better than new! The kit comes with everything, but I ordered an extra set of pads so I could wash a set and have one ready to use. You can use the fringe and medium pads wet or dry. I haven’t used them wet as yet, but dry, they clean beautifully! The softest pad can only be used dry, but does a wonderful job polishing. Works great on out kitchen vinyl and out bathroom tiles as well.

First off, we have 2 cats and a dog, so the hair level at our house is pretty high. I use this thing every 1-2 days to manage the hair level between my weekly vacuuming/deep cleaning. If you don't have this level of fur in your house, then this mop will probably be awesome for you. I maybe bought this with too high of expectations (based on the reviews), so I'm going to say that I like it - but it's not the miracle worker I was hoping for. It works well as a mop, maneuvers really easily, and I like that it can be washed and reused (rather than disposables like the swiffer mops), but as far as a dry mop for animal hair - it is sufficient, but not amazing. I've noticed that it sort of pushes a lot of the hair in front of the mop, rather than having it cling to the mop itself. If you pick up the mop head to clean it (or pick it up at all while sweeping, or turn too sharp while maneuvering around furniture), it will leave a line of hair on the floor that you will need to pick up separately. That would be my only real complaint. I hate that line of fur! Anyway, it's pretty good - but will not magically remove all the fur from your life.

My mother has this mop and once I used hers, I had to get one for myself. Upgrading from a Ocedar dual-action flip mop which is a PAIN to rinse and replace the cover. This one, the pad attaches with velcro. Rinse it out, drop it on the floor (blue side down, white side up) press the mop head onto the pad and start mopping. When its ready for another rinse, the pad pulls off easily. My whole house is 100% wood floor (including kitchen & bathroom) and I used to dread washing the floor. Now, it's so easy to use this mop, it only takes a couple of minutes to clean the floors. I usually use oil soap, but castile soap or Sal Suds in a pinch - even if I just use water, it does a great job without a lot of scrubbing. Handle telescopes for compact storage. I wash my pad in the washing machine and then hang to dry. I'm here to buy some extra pads - I use this mop so often, I don't have enough between laundry days.

Just received this mop after doing some research, I was looking to replace my Swiffer with something that I don't need to keep buying replacements for. Between the pads and the solution, it gets pricey and honestly, doesn't do all that great of a job. I just rec'd this and I am impressed. I don't care much for pad 1, it drags pretty bad and is barely usable on my floors. However, the other 2 are fab (no drag, as they state). I mopped my whole floor w/only water, first time ever! I will be using a cleaner in the future, because I want a scent, as I have 2 dogs that shed like crazy and I work hard to keep away doggie smells. I love the fact that the pads can be washed, I bought some extra just so I make sure I always have one ready when I need it. I have to mop my floors every few days, due to the dog hair previously mentioned. I just adopted both of them, so I am doing all I can to keep their hair and smells at bay. I think this mop will do the job very nicely and I don't have to keep buying supplies if I run out or don't want to!

Pros: -I like that the handle extends to a good length, so I don’t have to bend my back when I mop. -The mop works with any 18” mop pads that can connect with velcro which makes them easy to swap in/out or upgrade. Cons: -On my first use I was peeling off the pads, and one of velcro strips came unglued from the mop head and was stuck on the pad (see picture) Now it comes off every time I use it, so I have to be super careful to tear it in the opposite direction. It’s only a matter of time before it fully peels off. On top of that, the velcro breaks off and leaves residue on the mop pads (can see on the white pad) -The 3 mop pads that come with the mop are your pretty standard, mediocre pads which hurt the usability of the mop. Good news is like stated above it’s easy to swap in different pads as long as they fit. -One of my friends recommend ( these mop pads ) and they’ve been a nice upgrade. I would highly recommend upgrading the mop pads with some premium pads from Turbo or another manufacturer if you want to get the most out of the mop. Overall: I had high hopes was honestly was bummed out with the quality of the mop though :( On the bright side with a couple of tweaks the mop does a decent job. I don’t want to be wasteful and buy another mop but I will probably look for something else when it’s time to recycle this one!

This thing is amazing. the microfiber pad picks up so much kitty fur that a normal dust mop would just sort of shoo around. And the medium pad works amazing with the new floor cleaning spray I got. Just spritz spritz spritz swish and done, and my floors look like someone professional (with lots of time and energy) did them. When the hair (I have long hair) or cat fur (I have three cats) starts to get really accumulated the loops seem to tangle it all together to make it one big un-floaty knot. Sounds almost gross, but actually made it easier to clean the floor, because that was easy to throw away without it just floating out of the garbage can. Easy pad on and off with the velcro, I could use a microfiber cloth if I wanted because of the pinch holders on the top of the dust mop. Easy to clean the pad, just toss in the wash with my other cleaning supplies that need to be laundered (mop heads, towels, rags, etc). I wash all that stuff on hot, but that's just me. I love the adjustable height feature too, although I have to admit I didn't notice the locking mechanism at the base of the mop at first (if you don't lock it at the setting you want it when you twist the mop the components move to be easily adjustable, but one it's locked you're good to go). Great range of motion, large size means fewer passes, and it's not super wide front to back so if you have a tight space you can just go at it sideways no problems. Can't say enough nice things about this mop for my laminate and tile floors. I'm about to send a link to a girlfriend of mine who also has cats and hardwood floors. Side note, the Black Diamond floor cleaner works great with this.
