Superior floss storage
If you're like me, you've bought so many stitching storage products in the past from the big Dar*** (you know the one). I was never happy with the D-brand floss boxes as they always felt very flimsy and looked kind of crappy and, honestly, the hinges and clips being just a bent piece of plastic never feel very secure. Self, I said, there's got to be a better way. There's got to be a better floss box. I'm a big fan of ArtBin products for storing art stuff and fabric stuff, they may cost a little more but I've always found their design to be thoughtful and the quality much better. Distinct hinges, free-moving clips, handles, everything seems well thought out and tested for usability. This floss box is no different - it feels roomier and holds a ton of floss. The compartments are wider and the dividers movable so you can fit more than just floss in it, which is great for my "travel box" of embroidery supplies. What, doesn't everyone have a travel box of embroidery supplies? Anyway. The plastic is a heavier weight than D-brand, it feels very sturdy without being bulky. The hinges are just that, actual hinges, and I don't feel like they're going to warp or crack from overuse. The clips are also separate pieces, large, and easy to open and close securely. There's a built-in handle under the clips which I really like. Overall just a great little box for your stuff.

Perfect for bobbin storage
Good size and holds alot of bobbins. Keeps everything organized. The tabs to open and close are not too stiff or tight and hold securely. The dividers might be a little challenging to separate by pulling and tearing for those that have weakness or pain in hands, but you could use scissors to cut along the lines. Plastic is durable. Good value.

Put your bobbins in vertically! Good little organizer.
I like how they stack and I really like how I can see the colors and the numbers without opening them up. They each fit about 104 to 108 bobbins, which is really nice when you have a lot of colors like me. They stack neatly. I don't use the internal subdividers, which leaves little bumps that I don't like, but that's not a big deal for me. One of them came with a broken clasp which I'll return, but the ones that aren't defective have nice sturdy clasps that don't open unexpectedly. I'm using "300 Pieces Plastic Good Bobbins for Cross Cotton Thread Craft DIY Sewing Storage, Thread Organizer Holder, Embroidery Thread Cards Cross Stitch Bobbin, White" which are about 1 9/16" x 1 7/16"

Awesome floss case!
I ordered one for my daughter’s embroidery floss and she loves it. Her first case was the standard one you can pick up at the craft store for under $5. This case has sections you can adjust so she could combine a few for uncarded floss. The latches keep the case secure so the lid doesn’t pop open if the case hits the floor. The plastic is a nice quality and the price is right. When I ordered a second case I discovered I could buy 2 and save so she was thrilled to have them. Recommend 100%

Great box, not enough dividers.
This is the second time I've bought one of these boxes. They are surprisingly sturdy for the price and just feel good in my hands. The hinges and latches all feel solid and I never worry about throwing this into my backpack. my DMC plastic bobbins fit perfectly in the rows. The only problems are that the big sticker on the front is hard to remove and that it just doesn't come with enough dividers. I got this new one so I could organize all my floss and that would be a lot easier if it came with 20 dividers instead of 12,

Love these
These are my favorite brand and bin for my cross stitching hobby. Keeps me organized and easy to open and close with the tab closures. Good quality and think enough to be sturdy.

Great for Organization
I ordered these because I wanted a smaller form factor for organizing my cross stitch floss. I was using a large, 11" ring like a someone with a ton of keys would use and snack sized baggies with the corners hole punched to keep my floss in one place. It got a little tedious flipping back and forth between the baggies to find the correct color I needed. It also took up a ton of room in the bin I use to hold my cross stitch supplies. Convenience: So, I've switched over to using the plastic DMC bobbins and I'm happy to report that these boxes do allow you to store the bobbins upright so the number labels are easy to see. I definitely didn't want to make things hard on me by having to lay the bobbins on their sides where the labels were more obscured. Size: These boxes hold several bobbins as well. I ordered three boxes in total because the projects I work on are tens of thousands of stitches and use ~150 different colors each. Two of the boxes I keep out for current colors I'm using and the third holds the ones I have but am not currently using. A full box, for me, holds about 120 bobbins of floss, with each row in the box holding about 30 bobbins with floss. Construction: I will say I also like these boxes come with dividers. I have one box with some dividers inserted to keep extra empty bobbins, packages of needles, needle threaders, and snips in. I don't have to worry about the threaders slipping underneath the dividers and getting mixed in with other stuff in the box. This was an annoyance I experienced with other types of cheaply made boxes I've had in the past. The boxes are also made of thick plastic that hold their shape and don't warp and flex. The latches are also thick and seem like they'll hold up with tons of use over time. The clear plastic also allows the color labels to be seen without needing to open up the boxes. Overall Verdict: 10/10 would recommend!

Just leave the dang sticker on…
Works great! Mine came with all the dividers, even a few extra. I did put the dividers in upside down at first and felt like an idiot when it didn’t close. The flat part goes on top. :D The only issue I have is the sticker. I peeled it off, and it left a bunch of sticky residue. Hair dryer, Magic Eraser and Scrub Daddy couldn't budge it, and I eventually took an SOS pad to it out of frustration because who wants a sticky box?… But of course now the top is kind of scratched up.

Artbin has always been a brand I can trust, first starting out with a medium and large artist storage box for carryng ny art supplies to Art College. When I saw these thread/floss organisers I bought two straight away. So glad I did because they're worth the little extra cost. You have the freedom to choose where to put the dividers to create different sized compartments. I can fit 120 bobbins of thread inside each of mine. Also the overal build quality is robust and sturdy in design with an efficient locking system that never fails. Thanks Artbin, never can disappoint me in 30+ years.

Quite good for storing embroidery threads. Keeps them tidy, easy to see each colour and doesn't take up a lot of space.
