Love it!
The buttons are super sensitive, so I'm not having to slam on it. This makes my sad, sore fingers happy. It's also super quiet, which helps in the dead silence if my office. I no longer feel like I'm annoying everyone, having to click things just once and quietly. And my hand As a whole is happier with the shape of this. More relaxed. The perfect mouse.

WHAT I EXPECTED
The mouse quality is very good. It has an on/off switch and a link the fits on my laptop. Works fine.

No More Click Fatigue: A Quiet Upgrade
I love how silent this mouse is. There’s nothing more distracting than the constant clack of clicks when you're deep in a project. My previous mouse had compatibility issues with Windows 11, so I decided to give this HP model a try—and I’m glad I did. The ergonomic design fits naturally in my hand, offering a comfortable grip that feels secure without being bulky. It strikes a nice balance in size: not too large to overwhelm the desk, not too small to feel cramped. The clicks are satisfyingly quiet, and the pointer tracks accurately. I did need to adjust the pointer speed in Windows settings to get it just right, but once dialed in, it performed smoothly. Weight-wise, it’s substantial enough to stay put during use, yet light enough to glide effortlessly. It won’t go flying if you bump it, which is a subtle but appreciated detail. The 2.4GHz connector worked flawlessly—plugged in, connected instantly, and configured itself without a hitch. Overall, this is a functional, well-designed mouse that delivers on its promise of quiet performance at an affordable price. If you're looking to upgrade your workspace without the distracting noise, this one's worth considering.

One of the BEST, SILENT, CHEAPEST Mouses I've ever had
Great mouse for price, the texture of the mouse is great, it's not too slippery but it has some grip. The ergonomic design of the mouse is splendid, I have kind of big hands and i came over from an asus rog wired mouse worrying these wireless mouses would be too small, but no. This mouse is perfect fit for my hand. The only reason I'm giving this a 4/5 is the dongle handle is just as thin as the dongle head making it easy to drop and hard to grip onto. It was difficult retrieving the dongle from the mouse because of the way the last person inserted it. They stuck it in sideways instead of straight down. The design of removing the top plate to retrieve/store the dongle/battery is just bad design and wrong. It's not a big deal, but poor execution at being unique.

Frequently returned? Not really.
Yeah, right. Many of the critical (negative) reviews were for the Silent Ergo & Vertical Ergo styles of this HP mouse, but Amazon ended up placing a “frequently returned item” label on this Silent Rechargeable style, appeared a few days after I purchased it. After filtering the reviews, there was only 2 out of 75 reviews that are 1-star for this HP Silent Rechargeable mouse, & that was that. From customers' reviews: Silent Ergo = ⚠️ (Moderate) Vertical Ergo = 🚫 (Avoid) Silent Rechargeable = ✅ (Safe) As, once again, the rest of the critical reviews, that has went to the Silent & Vertical Ergo styles of this HP mouse, & has nothing to do with this Silent Rechargeable style that I bought. Meanwhile, I don't have any issues with this Silent Rechargeable mouse. Except it just needs to charge since it came with 0% battery. Compared to the Surface Arc Mouse from Microsoft that I’ve been using, the Silent Rechargeable mouse is more easier to use. 4-way scrolling? No, but who needs that anyway. Since Microsoft's Surface Arc Mouse built a 1-piece surface into their mouse that enables that feature, but with that surface, a right-click can easily be mistaken for a left-click. Microsoft is still stuck in the past, as their mouses (& keyboards) still require 2 AAA batteries (1 AA battery on some mouse models). I’m glad HP moved on with USB-C charging, no need to replace batteries! Even though the size of HP’s Silent Rechargeable mouse is bigger than Microsoft’s Surface Arc mouse, at least that HP mouse much easier to hold than Microsoft's arc design. USB dongle included with HP's Silent Rechargeable mouse, while Microsoft doesn’t include a USB dongle for their Surface Arc Mouse. Yet Microsoft's Surface Arc Mouse sometimes disconnects even when paired, to many issues that it won’t pair at all after unpairing. This issue definitely won’t happen to this HP Silent Rechargeable mouse. (At least mines don’t have a left-click issue & also make sure its firmware is up-to-date.) It's also worth the money compared to the Silent Ergo style that others have bought. But seeing the “frequently returned item” label on this HP Silent Rechargeable mouse, hopefully this label can be removed, since this mouse style is actually NOT frequently returned compared to other styles (Silent Ergo & Vertical Ergo) as of what I've read.

The software allows you to do 100 complicated things, except the useful one like scrolling up/down when tilting the wheel (like you can do on the Logitech MX).
