Quality item, details, shinny gold on 'feathered' body & wings, durable, good size for small hands.
Safari Ltd Griffin Figurine 4.25" Majestic Mythical Creature is well made with quite beautiful shinny gold details on the feathers on the wings and body that makes it stand out. Note that unlike other companies that make detachable wings, the wings on this Safari Ltd Griffin are securely fastened to the body and do not rotate or detach. Yes, I recommend if you are looking for quality rather than a lower price. Yes it is gift-worthy and I would definitely purchase this item again if ever in the market for another one at some other time. This beautifully designed Griffin would look nice added to any adult's collection, but because of it's size, this 4.25" Griffin would also fit well into a small child's hand and would be more easy to play with perhaps than some of the bigger mystical dragon figurines that are heavier. Great design and quality
My son loves this, although not cheap for a plastic figure this thing will last, the colour / featuring details are very high level and he loves the action pose. I usually stuck to Papo and Schleich for high end plastic dinosaurs and animals but found the Safari range of Dragons and mythological creatures to be better in most cases in terms of design choice and at least as equal quality wise.
