A little goes a long way.
I love this product use it in all of my plant based stews I make from gluten flour, soy chunks and textured vegetable protein meat sauce for my spaghetti. It gives them that brown beefy color.

False advertising !! It’s not Guyanese made.
It say Guyanese Pomeroon Style. Not ! Not! The first ingredient, is Sugar, Molasses, Cassava extract. And other stuff that’s not in Guyanese style. Guyanese style is Cassava !!!

Great product but very expensive
Wife got this for some West Indian recipes. Delivery was fast and no damage. Taste was what she wanted. Only reason for 4 stars is the price. Its almost double what other brands sell for, but it is a good product.

I remember....
I remember eating pepper pot for Christmas Breakfast in a Guyanese home. I forgot about it ....then discovered this. So yes. Made my pepper pot and it was delicious....even though it was after Christmas.

Fake Cassareep.
This cassareep is not from Guyana, it is made in Thailand. Contain Wheat Starch, Sulphites, Soy Bean, Molasses, sugar, and caramel. It is not a good product. Waisted my money.

Not thick enough and it has more molasses than cassava and spices. This is not the real Guyanese cassreep.
