Used to be king
Good, but I found one I like better. Irwin's work better and stay sharper longer and they're significantly lower priced. We had a good run Midwest, you're a gold standard, but I found a better option

Loosened up after minimal use
After short usage the blades loosened up.Despite tightening the scres holding the blades the shears continue to buckle up. This item is not much better than a heavy pair of scissors.

These are really nice heavy duty tin snips! The price is a bargain and they are made in the USA. I know I’ll have a million uses for these snips.

These are nice!
These cut straight, and smooth. I cut aluminum siding materiel with these and they work great. Out of the box they seemed stiff and not springy. Then after a cut or two they worked just right.
